I was downright shocked at how well both those teams played one another....it was to me the hardest played game between two teams this year...they both really wanted it badly...

While we are on the story of prop planes...I heard a story Years ago from a friends father who was in the AF...he told us that props that are in bright finish such as silver (say on VIP planes) can hypnotize the ground controllers and there where quite a few accidents because of this...any truth to this?

I have an Academy Merkava Mk IV I'm looking to trade for either an AFV Club T-34/85 in 1/35, Tamiya BT-7 or an 1/35 Dragon M1A2 SEP Abrams. Drop me a line if you want to work out a deal, I'm in the USA.

This isn't the first time Tamiya has done this, they had a PE set for their LeClerc MBT that was pretty much required to complete the model!

Thats funny.... 1992 Escort with over 120K miles...zero problems besides a worn ball joint...crashed by the second owner 1998 Ranger with 136K+ miles...no mechanical issues, still driven every day (my dad's Ranger) 2006 Mustang GT....106K Miles, still runs like a new car (my current car) 2010 Escape 66K miles....no issues either....(GF car) I think you've been brainwashed into thinking Japanese cars are better, when they really aren't

I got a feeling we are going to see people get confused between the two categories.... KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) Any subject by markings from 1946 till 1991 Example: M1A1 in Germany 1986 (when the first M1A1's hit in country) would be posted cold war M1A1 AIM in Iraq 2004 would be posted in modern T-55AM in East Germany 1970's: Cold War T-55AM in Yugoslavia 1993: Modern And so on, so forth...

AEF Designs had one...I saw it and it wasn't that great. Not to mention AEF Designs closed up shop last year...good riddance...

I'm looking to trade my F-16C Block 25/32 for a Tamiya F-16C/N Falcon "Aggressor/Adversary" #61106 kit. If your interested, drop me a line.. Thanks! Scott -
They do, with some colors: I got my Akan paint from these guys http://www.armory.in.ua/ Two weeks to the East Coast of the USA

If your looking for a good way to remove Mr Surfacer (and even Tamiya Putty)...get a can of denatured alcohol (Methylated Spirits if your across the pond) from your fav local hardware or big box store. Doesn't attack the plastic, but it will take paint off plastic if your not careful. Another warning is wear gloves since it will dry the hell out of your finger tips.

I normally use their own thinner with a drop of dish washing detergent. I was finding out that using their thinner or plain old water as thinner would leave me colored water droplets (like from a water spritzer bottle), but adding dish washing detergent would break down the surface tension and it would spray fine after that.

The problem is that "offical" numbers are often sandbagged...for example, the Javelin ATGM has a rated range of 2000-2500m from official sources, but yet Special Forces operators in OIF where plinking off tanks at 3000m+ plus with them http://www.defensemedianetwork.com/stories/roughnecks-at-war-the-battle-of-debecka-pass/

Gunze Mr.Color Russian Interior Blue/Green

Good luck in trying to locate it though...they've been long out of business. -
USPS ships it via airplane Keep in mind that for the most part, air mail, protory mail, etc are basically how fast they are "sorted" by the post office...they all travel the same way except surface mail...which is self explaintory...

Eduard - you guys dropped the ball on the MiG-21 thing!
ScottD replied to Jennings's topic in General Discussion
IMO its a bad business pracitce to charge your customers before you have that item ready to ship to them. Shouldn't make any difference to the company if they get paid on March 15th vs Febuary first...it was a "preorder" or hold/reserve this item for me till you have it...most other companies I've delt with don't charge till the item is shipped to me. -
Does anyone make a Larger Scale Tomahawk Cruise Missile? I don't think a 1/48 scale one would quite cut it
