  1. Thanks @spejic and @KursadA, went back over tons of pics and it appears to be time frame and airframe specific. As it turns out, I finally ran across a pic of the specific aircraft I am depicting and after learning “how” to look for it, it is definitely there. BW
  2. Was this “plate” on all A-4s? It’s kind of a pain to work around. And did it have a panel line or do I need to fill it?
  3. They did and they look great. Not sure my painting skills would do them justice 😑
  4. Thanks for the response. I can fit the seat near the end so I will play around with colors and such, appreciate it. BW
  5. What is the correct color for the seat cushions and harnesses/belts for an A-4E ejection seat in the 1975 time frame? Concerned that many of the pics I have come across online are museum restorations, later versions or from foreign users. Looking to get some guidance, thanks in advance
  6. Looking forward to the RF-8 sheet!
  7. Thanks. Maybe with the A-4C repop we will see something soon
  8. Not finding any 1/48 A-4E 3D cockpit decks for the Hasegawa kit by the major players. Am I overlooking/missing them? Anyone know if any company is producing a set? BW
  9. Definitely looks the part of an operational bird on float
  10. Sorry, I got so excited I misread your post. I need more coffee perhaps! Regardless, thanks for the update and I’ll still buy it
  11. This has to be the first time in publishing history that a title I want is coming out earlier and not later than scheduled! This is excellent news and can’t wait
  12. Wait, you included lightening holes on the back side of the covers that will never be seen? Not surprised at all, and such clean, precise work
  13. Nice work, appreciate the summary as well
  14. Appreciate you pointing out how Phantoms in the LGG/GW scheme weathered. I agree that many models I have seen are way over weathered to depict an actual aircraft. But if thr modeler wants to, then it’s their call. Me? I’m going to try and accurately replicate the original
  15. Outstanding work so far, can’t wait to see the next installment
  16. Just about across the finish line, impressed with your output and work
  17. I take no consolation in the fact that even a master such as yourself has to deal with ghost seams like us mere mortals. Those tanks are fantastic though and will look magnificent slung under your Phantom
  18. Scribing would be your best bet, and I would recommend creating a template to guide your scribing efforts. Either that or make a mask and draw them on near the end
  19. I just spent probably 30 minutes mesmerized by the craftsmanship on fuel tanks. Not a cockpit, or engine or open radome for a radar, but fuel tanks. This is next level skill. Everything, and I mean everything is so clean. Very inspirational BW
  20. True craftsmanship, very inspiring. One of the best builds online at the moment and I don’t have much interest in type but anxiously await each update. BW
  21. I want to have issues and mistakes like that some day. Please tell me this one will make the trek to San Marcos for Nats so I can admire it in person. BW
