I agree 100 percent. I think it is really cool to have the ability to make either one. Falcon makes the TF-51D canopy in 48th to go along with the 2 place cockpit that is offered here in 48th scale. Brock

I have been talking to Michael Bolden with Contrails for many weeks now and he has completed his conversion set for the Tamyia kit. This conversion is the Cavalier mustang with tip tanks, 2 place cockpit, larger canopy and a tall tail. This set comes with everything you need to build the Cavalier Mustang. Tall tail piece, 2 seats, extra IP, tip tanks, cockpit floor, larger canopy and a regular canopy. All of this can be seen in the picture. Pretty awesome having this bird 15 minutes from my house. This past Christmas holiday break I was able to sit in the cockpit of 990. This was a real treat since all I had been able to do in the past was walk around her. I got to visit her a couple times in storage when I was a volunteer at the musuem about 4 years ago and she always had a pad lock on the canopy. She is open now and it was very cool to get to sit in a airplane with such a neat history! Brock

Matt I see that the Helo's used at Edwards had the same big white numbers on the sides of the aircraft. As you know the ATTC here at Rucker call those Bear Cat Numbers. Was this the same with Edwards Helo's? Brock

Hey floyd, when I first hired on at Fort Rucker before I started turning wrenches, I was put in the Aircraft Refinishing Hangar as a Aircraft Refinishing Spec. . I was on a team of around 8 people and we refurbed helos out of the school fleet a Rucker. I have refurbed a BUNCH of Hueys. When I first got there we were painting the cockpit black and the cabin area gray. It must have been around a year later we started painting the cocpit and cabin black. The outside was carc green with black markings and orange doors. The buzz number was a big white number with big white letters. The call numbers
