  1. Just finished of the last Irn Bru in the house. Need to order more!
  2. Met these folks at the noreastcon 43 in early May 2014. It is a family operation, and they seemed very eager to do what they could to make sure the customer had a positive buying experience. Let us know about your experience!
  3. Just came from Bay Shore Hobbies in Bay Shore, New York, and they had a LARGE selection of CA kits... You'd think they are still in business seeing how many were on the shelves.
  4. Sounds like fun! Here's my F-105, banged out in 5 minutes or so. Cannot vouch for the accuracy of the camp pattern, as it was drawn from memory!! :)
  5. I'd love to buy his A-7 set, but it's out of production it seems.
  6. Fantastic!! Just do yourself a favor, take a day or so to acclimate to the altitude, and stay hydrated. Too many folk get off the plane from sea-level and want to go to the top of Pikes Peak. Bad idea.
  7. Um, the 2nd most populated city in Colorado would be Colorado Springs, followed by Pueblo and Grand Junction...... Loveland is quite a ways down the list. and the number of "Western" movies shot in Colorado and Utah, also not "western" by your standards, might surprise you. Your analogy is roughly along the lines of, "Why is British Columbia called BRITISH Columbia!? It's nowhere near England!!!!" Draw a vertical line down the center of the USA.... Label the left half West, and the right half East. Where does Colorado lie in that simplified scheme of things? HTH.
  8. Typical New York mentality. Do whatever you can to squeeze money out of someone else, however tenuous their connection may be to an event. Out on Long Island, the town council in my hometown is weighing whether to charge people $25 for a permit to have a party. that's right, invite a few friends over, and you better have a permit, or else. So glad I'm outta there. http://northport.patch.com/groups/politics-and-elections/p/town-requires-a-permit-to-party
  9. Back in the late '60's, a friend of ours joined the Air Force to avoid getting drafted- He wanted to have some control over where he ended up..... He signed up for something called "Fire Control", which he thought meant sitting at a Fire House on some quiet AFB. Boy, was he surprised.
  10. Hey Chuk- In a few of the photos, I see an Italian Biplane that looks somewhat like a Feiseler Fi-167, but it has twin-tails.... What plane is that? thanks! Lee
  11. Thanks, Moose- I'll contact you when the move date is a bit closer. Thanks again, Lee
  12. Title says it all- any IPMS clubs? Googled, and came up with a dead link- that's all. Hopefully there is more than that!
  13. That's what I'd be entering- a 1/32 SparkVark.
  14. This perhaps? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Willo_the_Wisp
