Yep, it's just you. If you look at the clear sprue there is one windscreen and the two sliding parts. -keith

Great site but one question on the Staff car. It has a metal chassis (quote) "for realistic weight and extra impact" ? What, for when you throw it at someone ?? Just wondering why Tam' are including expensive (probably) metal chassis in the vehicle kits. -keith

DOH! and there was me thinking I was being all clever an' all.

The markings tamiya have displayed are from the 343rd FS 55th FG, late summer '44 after they changed from their P-38's in July. -keith

Well Aeromaster did do a set, 72-025 with markings for four of the Ploesti raiders, so they have been done but some time ago. -keith

P-47C models probably started with tinted zinc cromate (interior green) and changed to Bronze Green/Dull Dark Green sometime during the production run. HTH, Dave Weren't the P-47C's made by Curtiss and used interior green (green ZC) for cockpit, wheel wells and gun bays. As opposed to the Republpic built with DDG cockpit and YZC gun bays and wells. According to the D&S book anyway -keith

Engines & Things R-3350 for B-29 anyone used them?
Keith Burns replied to Keith Burns's topic in Props
Thanks! I'd like to take a look at some photos if you don't mind. I've had an E&T engine before and your right they are a bit rough but I'd like to compare them to the kits engines. Thanks again -keith -
Hey Guys Has anyone tried these 1/48 resin engines? Opinions? -keith

Thanks Terry. I'll check those out (didn't realise there was a retail page) -keith

Hi Terry That's great that you market nose weights but, perhaps me being relatively new to these parts, how do I get in touch with you to buy some ? Thanks -keith

MDC do a conversion back to an A1 which includes new wingtips and ailerons for the shorter span wing of the A1. I found the wingtips were a bit short chordwise but cutting them in half glueing them in place and filling the resultant gap worked OK. -keith
