    1/32 F-22A

Apologies for the 2 month old reply. I haven't been looking at this forum and i didn't really expect that much replies. But I would like to thank everyone for the appreciation and the comments here. And should anybody be interested in building another of his own F-22A, please feel free to drop me a message, I will gladly attend to you. Thank you.

Well, i got the original testors kit. As for the modifications,I did the following: lengthen the fuselage reshaped the nose extended the wingspan change the wing sweep Resized the verticals resized/reshaped the horizontals But the landing gears and the landing gear bays and the missile bays remained untouched so it is a little inaccurate in that aspect. The canopy remains partially unmodified too.

my build process can be seen here apologies for not typing it out again, but i don't have much time left, and i will be leaving home for about a week. So I guess this will do. Thousands of apologies.
  4. Well, i am not exactly a very active member over here. But i would like to share with you my latest creation. The plane is a kit bash from an italeri YF-22 kit. A really poor kit in my opinion but I did get to enjoy myself in the process
  5. I have done some research, and i have cmade a few observations about the main differences between an A-4E ,C Well the most obvious difference between the A-4E and C will be the nose length, which i think i can rectify. Following that will be the intake. Unfortunately, I read that the A-4C intake is flushed to the fuselage while the A-4E is seperated. Will be kinda difficult to rectify that. Only thing i can do is to shorten the intake a little.
  6. I know this is kind of difficult, but i want to make an A-4SU in 1/32 scale, which is basicly an A-4C airframe. Since the only kit I can find is the Hasegawa 1/32 A-4E. I would like to know if it is possible to convert it to the C version. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Edit: I notice I was a little too eager to post this topic and had a rather weird topic title. Apologies to all.
  7. I will probably try spraying humbrol gloss over the surface before spraying super clear. Well, yet to try it though, my decals are in the process of drying.
  8. yup. quite a few of my decals became wrinkled and crumpy when i sprayed mr super clear on my model. About 20%. Somehow 80% remained ok. I think it has to do with leaving your decals long enough to dry.
  9. I use a sparmex 0.3mm gravity fed airbrush now. Works pretty well. Does whatever it needs to do. Only problem is that you have to clean it really well to ensure smooth operations. Kinda tedious.
