  1. Hi, Message sent. Let me know if the set is still available if things don't work out with the previous offer. Greg
  2. I just flipped thru 35 pages of the C-130 Greek modelers' thread. It was kinda funny with it all being in Greek. Since I couldn't understand it really, I was just looking at the progress pictures page to page. There would be a few pics then a whole page or two of posts which had tons of eyeball-popping smilies. I got a real kick out of it. Seriously though, what an amazing effort! Thanks for posting the link. Regards, Greg
  3. Peter Doll: I suppose this would be as good a time as any to enter one more plea for Mr. Doll to elaborate just a little on his technique. I've looked up as many of his metal finishes in the ARC gallery as I could find with the foil technique and found a brief discussion in which he talks about using 1 cm strips and achieving different shades by boiling the foil with eggshells. Peter, it would be very nice (and I'll quit repeatedly emailing you) if you would go into a little more detail, such as... ...do you use such small strips on all the surfaces? ...do you overlap or butt th
  4. J.C. Bahr: I just wanted to acknowlege your beautiful job on the Aardvark. I have never really found this particular jet very appealing until I saw your work. Thanks also for the links. I learned alot about the FB-111A and wound up ordering two for the stash. Your photography was also stunning. Again, thanks for posting this! Regards, Greg
  5. Hi. I ordered from them awhile back and also received an immediate order confirmation. I then waited for MONTHS before the item came, but it did come - just as I was starting the process of trying to get a refund. One problem I had was language. After the easy initial order from their English translation webpage, I found it difficult to navigate through the contact information. It all worked out in the end, though. So my take is that you will eventually get your stuff. Hope this helps. Regards, Greg
  6. Wasn't trying to be a smarta--. I may not have a firm grasp of the game. I thought it was changing one letter of the previous word to make a new word. I must not be seeing something with "amiss" following "rummies". Sorry if I offended. Regards, Greg
  7. I may not understand the rules, but my submission after "rummies" would be: "memoirs"
  8. I'll chime in here. Received two kits from Erik. What wonderful communication and patience. Very professional. Timely shipping, great packing and awesome price. A pleasure to do business with. Thank you, Erik! Regards, Greg
  9. Whoops...it occurred to me that I goofed on my reference to Peter Doll's gallery submission. It was, in fact, the F-105D that Peter did, not the B-58, although that model was awesome as well. Sorry, Peter, if you read this. Regards, Greg
  10. I'm not an experienced modeler, but I have to say I think Peter Doll has done an awesome job with the RB-66 Destroyer and a-foil. Take a look in the gallery at his B-58 Hustler for another real treat. Peter, I sent you an email a long time ago imploring you for some tips on how you performed your magic on the B-58. Anyway, thanks for sharing. I personally don't think models could look more convincingly real than the work you do with BMF. Regards, Greg
  11. Decals arrived here from halfway around the world in perfect shape. Gerard is a great trader to deal with. Thanks, Gerard. Regards, Greg
  12. I appreciate this information. He is currently auctioning a B-58 Hustler on ebay with a BIN option. I don't know this seller at all, and anyone, including me, can screw up from time to time, but for now I think I will hold off. There are some great traders here on ARC. I think I'll at least start here for my future purchases when possible. Regards, Greg
  13. Hi, Brian. That is a great price. I checked our gallery here and reviewed the F-2's again. Without doing my own research could you tell me what the differences (if any) are bewtween the XF-2A and F-2? I really like the paint scheme and markings of the F-2's in the gallery. That is the type I would like to build eventually. The box art at least looks to be different than the Hasegawa F-2. If it is simply a choice of painting and markings it would seem to be a good price at which to pick one up. Regards, Greg
