  1. Hi, I'm looking for a photo of a ukrainian flanker pilot so I could see the colors of the suit and helmet (white I think). I need it for an in-flight display. Thanks!
  2. Thanks to all for the answers!...i didn't mean to say that a kit with raised panel lines is bad but I personally think that with recessed lines you could built a better looking model. That's just what I like seeing other modelers builds. I know you could always rescribe the plastic but I've tried it in the past and I must say that is too much time consuming to do that for a whole kit. Said that I really want to make a 1/72 wolfpack tomcat so I will go on asking what you suggest to use: the hasegawa offering or aftermarket decals eventually on a cheaper tomcat kit (airfix, revell, italeri...)?
  3. Hi all, I would like to built a 1/72 wolfpack tomcat and I've found this kit at a low price: Can someone tell if this is good (engraved panel lines, good decals)?? Thanks in advance for the help!
  4. first of all thanks! Ivan: you are right. The panel lines looks too dark. I think it depends from two reason: the rescribed panel lines too wide and the oil paint used for the wash not toned down with white (it's plain black). That was the first time I've used this tecnique so,now, I've learned something! Jackman: for the rescribing process I used the Verlinden 1/72 rescribing template; very useful! thanks again for the comments!
  5. some close-up photos that's all! thanks for watching!
  6. Hi all! It's my first post in this forum but I'm reading it from about a year in which I've learned from all of you a bunch of new tricks to improve my model...so I will start with a big THANK YOU!. That's the first aircraft model I've built in about ten years from the last I've assembled. As I've said, I recently learned new tecniques, so I needed an old kit to try some: I choosed an old f-15 revell kit found lot of years ago in a monthly magazine (I don't remember kit # but I know it had raised panel lines and the pre-production little speed brake). To enance the detail i bought some edwa
