Here is my Tamiya jug 48 scale added to the cockpit and engine but the kit don't need much. I paint it with Gunze OD then added white to the base color to give it a faded look. The marking are George Preddy Cripes A'Mighty P-47D-5-RE 42-8500 487th FS, 352nd FG Bodney, England Jan 1944.

Here is my Mc.200 its was release by Tamiya but its a Italeri kit. Not a bad kit, the plastic is kind of soft and the panel lines are on the heavy side. It did have some photo etch and the decal sheet is very nice. I did replace the exhaust and lower cowl flaps because lost the kits parts. The windshield and engine cowl had to work it for a good fit. The scheme is for the bow art 369a Squadriglia,22 Groppo Autonomo CT, Russia 1941. Painted with model master olive green and gunze for rest of the model. Thanks for looking.

Hi Ken, nice job on your P-40.

Haven't posted in awhile and my first 32scale in a long time. I stared it when it first was released not a quick build but one that I enjoyed. I added a ignition harness with brass wire and replaced the decals, the rest is from the box. I mixed the interior green and salmon color with gunze the black is modelmaster black chrome trim. I didn't like the deep look of the instruments with the decal on the back side on the clear insert. I sanded it on the front side and put the decals on the forward side and used expoxy for the lens. I painted it with Mr.Color for blue/gray and gunze for the light

Very close to being done, a littler more weathering and a flat coat.

No I didn't get it done. maybe for the kick off classic.

Made more progress, started to weather with pastels and cotman water color. I gave the decals a light coat of white to tone it down, I had a lot of trouble with the decals from eagle edition they did not want to snug down. Thanks for looking.

Made more progress on my Corsair, would also like to thank nicholassagan, Sven Harjacek, sharkey, Jeffrey T, Falcon50EX, the decals are Eagle Editions.

Hi Dave, I did have a hard time with the seat belts on the next one I will put some heat to it to make is easier to bend. Going to try the kit decals first and if I don't like it I will paint it. take care, Ben

Here is my Tamiya Corsair, getting close to being done. I did add ignition wires to the engine but the rest on the kit is oob. If you have one you won't be disappointed. I reworded the instrument panel to make the gauges look more shallow. [/img] [/img] [/img] [/img] [/img] [/img] [/img] [/img] [/img]
