  1. I’ve got a B and builders J if Dutch doesn’t have you covered.
  2. Atlantis still produces all of their kits in the USA. Polar lights/round 2 also produce some of their kits in the USA (usually repops of older kits, all new stuff comes out of China)
  3. Got mine today (along with the B-26K sheet) amazing stuff! Worth the wait. These are my 39th and 40th Caracal sheets! More than anyone else in my decal stash. Keep them coming!
  4. Yup! And could use similar extra sheets for the T-33s and ANG F-4 sheets. I just finished an Oregon ANG T-33, would love to do the other scheme on the sheet but I need more stencils, and insignias, etc.
  5. Great stuff! I was glad to see someone mentioned the hobbyboss kit, I was curious where it fit in.
  6. Wow! $107? I might drop that for a Tamiya F-22, but I think I’ll be holding onto my Hasegawa kit for now.
  7. Might have an easier chance finding a Wings-48 vac, they pop up from time to time. Atlantis just did a blog post on the famous train wreck https://atlantis-models.com/blog/the-aurora-molds-urban-legends/
  8. Scalehobbyist, Hobbylinc, Ebay, Dauntless Hobbies....aka Rebelalpha on Ebay, Amazon, FB, forums like this...You can get some great deals on Amazon at times. Just picked up a Dora Wings P-63 to my door for $32 off Amazon. You can also find cheaper prices from some retailers on Amazon than through their own websites/online stores. Occasionally Sprue, good selection and fast shipping, but i feel like their prices aren't as good of a deal as they used to be. I don't need anything shipped to me in 2-3 days, I just want the most bang for my buck. I check out their lighting deals all the time, but it
  9. Don’t know….but I’m working on the same kit right now, going to have to check out the fit tonight!
  10. So….before I blow my budget and order some newer sheets, any updates to this list?
  11. Great news! Out of curiosity, do the decal printers also print the instructions? Or are those done with a different vendor?
  12. Some good stuff to think about! The Hasegawa kits are so pricey, never understood the high price on this kit compared to some of their other kits. Revell had its own Hornet, I think it last appeared in the Yeager boxings, since then it’s been the monogram plastic in Revell boxes, although I could be mistaken….
  13. Seeing the numbers Eduard published In Their news letter, the “limited editions” seem to be their best sellers. Profipacks and weekend editions might actually be more “limited “
  14. I’m getting lazy….I don’t feel like beating a kit into submission. I built the Monogram F/A-18 decades ago and remember the issues with it. I’m looking for an easy build for a desert storm era aircraft. reading a few build reviews on the kinetic kit, it looks like it doesn’t exactly fall together. Ease of assembly before accuracy, I’m not enough of a hornet expert to know the finer details, I just want “one” to add to the stash from desert storm. Any thoughts? Hasegawa? Hobbyboss? Kinetic? Monogram?
  15. Nice build Paul! Yeah, I just meant a store outside of ebay. I'm not a fan of Ebays policies and how they treat sellers (this comes as a long time seller there up until a few years ago). Charlie
  16. Awesome! Thanks Corey, Scott is the best, I buy a lot of stuff from him. I wish he's open a webstore though! I hate giving Ebay a cut of his sales.
  17. That's insane. Get it off Ebay for about $60 + $15-$20 in shipping from Europe. Lots of them on Ebay, you can see pics there of all the sprues. I loved Great Models, but Loic needs to check out some of his pricing, and fix his shipping calculator. I recently put a kit in the cart there, and it quoted me $15.65 Priority Mail for a 2 lb box. You know what I get when I calculate a 2 lb box priority at the retail counter rate from his zip to mine? $10.70. I don't mind paying a fair price for shipping, but I'm not going to get gouged for it. I ship enough stuff I know what it costs to ship a
  18. Nice! Any of the overall grey schemes planned? I think they wore those out of Cannon right before being sent to the boneyard.
  19. Awesome! Need some GSB schemes for my Skyraiders!
  20. I’ve got 5 Hasegawa, 2 academy, 3 monogram, 5 Esci and 1 Tamiya. No ZM, but I’ll get one eventually since it appears they fixed the fuselage. Always on the look out for cheap Hasegawa kits.
  21. Got my orders in for the invader and peacemaker!
  22. Thank you Kursad, I don’t blame you, I realize other than artwork you have no control over the production, and no replacement needed, I got them to work for me on the kit I was building. I appreciate the offer though! Charlie
  23. Wow! Great looking sheet! Thanks for doing this one Kursad, another must have.
  24. Not exactly similar but I had issues recently with The T-33 1/48 Oregon ANG sheet. Even in warm water the decals did not want to release from the sheet. They did eventually after a very long soaking but had to be nudged to get moving off the sheet. They applied as normal, I use micro sol/set. Dried in place, and then fell off the model, they didn’t bond at all. Luckily I had only applied a few of the markings before figuring this out. Not sure if it’s an adhesive problem or what, solved it by adding a drop of white glue to the water, and a puddle of future where they are placed on the model.
