  7. I have printed black markings with inkjet with no issues in the past. As long as the decals are handled properly (ie: sealed well) there should be no problems. Colour always has issues due to the opacity and because most inkjets just overall suck at matching colours
  8. the issue is, if i wanted to advertise a business, I would write a contract and pay someone to say nice things about me. Most celebrity "influencers" are paid to do what they do, or are under contract to a specific company . Most "influencers" are just out to score free stuff. I hate the term influencer. It was just a new zippy way to claim someone is a spokesperson without coming right out and saying it. As a business, if I wanted to provide free products to someone for a review, good bad or ugly, I would do my research and contact people I felt would be fair. if someone offers to do a good r
  9. Yep. Some one who tries to get free stuff by claiming they can "influence" people to buy said stuff cause of how popular they are. unless you are a legitimate celebrity, most of these so called influencers are just people trying to pretend they are someone important. Sean
  10. is it not possible to print these out on a printer? Simple black letters and it is a standard RCAF font. Sean
  11. Interestingly, it was painted as the lead aircraft of the infamous flight 19 that had gone missing in the bermuda triangle back in ‘45. Would make a neat opening scene for a movie about time travel or something. Write the whole Movie just around using that footage!! sean
  12. I looked up the instructions for that kit (as long as I am looking at the right release) and it looks like it is an overall gloss sea blue scheme. https://www.scalemates.com/products/img/8/7/2/177872-91-instructions.pdf also be aware, that if you want as accurate as possible, the FAA Corsairs had clipped wings. the standard wing tip was too tall to fit in the hangar decks of the British carriers when they were folded. Sean
  13. It was a technique I saw around here. you block off the back end of the intake trunk, fill it with white house paint (I used primer) wait a bit, then dump it all out. It leaves a nice thick layer of white paint inside the intake and you don't have to fight to get even coverage. I will have a how-to video soon on my youtube channel. sean
  14. One of my latest model builds. the RoG (reboxed ICM) C-45 done up as an RCAF bird using the Caracal Sheet. These decals went down super easy and look great!! Sean
  15. This is now completed. You can see the display case post HERE Sean
  16. This is one of my recently completed models, the Revell of Germany C-45 (reboxed ICM kit) I built it as a 1950's RCAF aircraft using the Belcher Bits C-45 late model conversion set and the great Caracal Decal sheet. I got a little bit of overspray on the inside of the cabin windows, but it is not very noticeable. Otherwise, it tuned out great. The resin went it with a littel bit of work needed and the decals went own super easy! Thanks for looking, Sean
  17. This is now complete, you can see the display case post HERE Sean
  18. Here is one of my latest completed builds. This is the Promodeller F-15E that I built OOB as the Tiger Meet aircraft. overall it went together really easily and I am very happy with how it turned out. I used the white house paint technique for the first time to paint the intakes and it looks great and I used sponges to mask the intakes nd wheel wells and I am also happy with how that worked out. Only really issue I have is my own doing. I used Alclad Gold Titanium (the only titanium paint I could get during lockdown) for the engine areas and I do not like the way the colour look
  19. This model is now completed. You can see the display case post HERE Sean
  20. This is one of my latest completed models. It is the Eduard P-39Q Profipack built OOB in the USSAF train scheme. The photoetch had was a little fiddly in places and the vinyl masks were absolute garbage and I had to re-mask the canopy with Tamiya tape in the end to finish it off. Thanks for looking, Sean
  21. This has been completed....you can see the display case post HERE Sean
