Here is one of my latest completions. As the title says it is the Tamiya 1/48 A6M5c that I completed out OOB. Painted with Vallejo paints and I used the salt technique to get the chipped paint look. Thanks for looking, Sean

I should be getting my f shot in a few weeks. My neighbourhood has been flagged as a "hotspot" The sooner the better in my opinion...working in aviation means I am constantly coming into contact with high risk people. Sean -

Kursad, they are your decals. Love them!! Had one issue with the wing roundels peeling off even after solva set and gloss coat, but thats probably user error. Just went with the post-68 roundel to fix it and gonna hope most people dont notice. sean

Rumour is that F4U-4 Korean War Hero will be there doing a Legacy Flgith with some Growlers. I will confirm when I hear. Sean -
the cowlings never really fit the best on that but It should fit a bit better than that. have you tried to pry the edges out a bit as you push the upper one down? are you able to post some picture of the engine area with the cowlings off? it kind of looks like the side frames arent connected to the forward circular bulkhead. you can compare to my build below... https://www.martinsammodels.com/Webpage/Pages/Models/Comission builds/Pages/Spitfire/Y2K/Finished/Pictures/011.jpg Sean

Looking back through my build log, it looks like I installed mine near the end after painting and didnt seem to have any issues. I built mine right after it cale out so I don’t really remember any details from building it. Here is my log. https://www.martinsammodels.com/Webpage/Pages/Models/My models/pages/Spitfire/32nd/building/32nd.htm sean
