  1. Hi there, after watching some gorgeous builds on this forums of the Fulcrum, I feel very inclined to build one on 1/72 scale. I specially like the "soviet agressor" from haneto. Wich kit is mre acurate for this, Italeri or ICM? I have built the Italeri with good results in the past, but have read somewhere that the ICM is more acurate on the conopy area... Thanks for your help. RGDS Juan
  2. It,s a strange thing what is happening with this kit... It has some days now in the market and is passing almost unapercived in this forums... Where are the tipical rewievs and preasemblies that we are used with a kit long time expected? Hi Ken, where are you? Perhaps are you sick? we need your opinions on it. Please, get one copy from anywhere and start to work on it!!! Anybody a review, please? Rgds Juan

  6. Many thanks for your encouragement friends. Erik, I think that the switched tail cone gives the kit a different looking from today all gray aircrafts. If you have the book of Jan Jorgensen about the Viggen you can find on it some variations on this them. A camo Viggen with the tail cone on gray as you say, a NMF Viggen with camo tail cone, a gray Viggen with camo nose cone and vice versa... It is interesting how they managed to keep that birds flying on the last years. And about the 1/48 Viggen...I,m almost only on 1/72 ( I just have 2 1/48 kits)but an aircraft like this is very tempting on t
  7. Nice pylons, in fact, Janne! Your progress on this bird is great, but as I can see, just in this moment a good sanding sesion is waiting for you... I like the way you spiced the RAT vane, friend. But your kit will end up weighing a ton with all that resin... Hurry up with the Hornet and come bak to the Viggen as soon as possible! Cheers! Juan
  8. If I were you I would wait, as Tarangus has said that they will release a new kit of the Viggen in the first half of 2013. Take a look: http://www.tarangus.se/ RGDS Juan
  9. Many thanks Janne and Jesse for your support! Jesse, about your question on how I manage to stay focused on two at the same time, the answer is DETERMINATION. I started this project long time ago with only one aircraft and without knowing how it happened I ended building four kits at the same time with all the improvement that I have done on them...but I,m firmly committed to finish them before starting any other kit. This is the first time I achive this, in fact I have at least ten kits on different stages of building that had been parked for long time. But with this four Viggens I feel tha

  11. Hi again! Many thanks Janne for your interest. Well, I have the splinter portion of the JA-37 painted. The lower part of this section of the fuselage also received a different shade of gray I,m very sattisffied with how the camo portion resulted, but i was feeling that the gray fuselage was quite plain and boring... so I decide to give it some treatment, and so...the SALTY VIGGEN (more on this tomorrow) Continue...
  12. Hi Janne! Another great project ongoing! keep that great work and rate, friend. Juan
  13. Hi again! I,m back to this project. I,ve been some absent from the forums due to personal reasons, but finally I,m on my way with some new progress. First of all many thanks everybody for your interest and apologies specially to Dragan, Janne, SmashedGlass, Laz, and Najck for the lack of response. I,ve been working on this time on some masters for the Saab Lansen, both for the 1/48 Tarangus and 1/72 Heller kits to be converted to the Lansen Gamma. Hopefully this sets will be soon available from MaestroModels. Now, to the pics. I have managed to paint the gray Viggens (SF and JA). Here you c
  14. hi there! I,m looking for the part that depicts the compressor faces on the 1/72 Revell F-4F (kit #4615 or #4685) or RF-4E (#4308). The number of the part is 25. TIA Juan
  15. Hi Glynn! Here,s Juan, from Spain. I have that kit at home, and I,m not going to use the decals. Let me know if you are interested still. greetings. Juan
  16. Hi again! Just a kick update to show haw the things are with this project. As said I,m at present concentrated on the JA-37 and the SF-37. I decided to prime both of them with MrSurfacer. This is my first time priming a kit prior to paint but it has shown a good option giving the number of different materials plus the scrath involved on this kit. So here is the JA-37 And the SF-37 The primer revealed some problems that would need to be fixed, mainly on the area sorrounding the cockpit. With all this solved I prepaneled both kits. With the SF-37 wich will use a pristine and clean
  17. Nice work, Janne! Now, turn off your computer and start with your next project, come on! Cheers. Juan
  18. And here you go again! That kit is almost ready to be painted, isn't it? Great looking! Juan

  21. Hi there! Following with my colaboration with the owner of MaestroModels I,ve been asked for him to build a master to convert a regular J-32 Lansen into the â€ÂLansen Gammaâ€Â, the aircraft that was used as testbed for the Viggen radar. By now I only have been able to collect a couple of pics and a side drawing as reference, so if any of you have any further pic or drawing or any data about this particular aircraft it will be welcome. The conversion will include the nose from the Viggen, a modified belly tank with the camera devices and the underwing pod and hopefully will be availab
  22. Hi there! Many thanks foryour words Janne and Dragan. Believe me, I am also eager to see the finished aircraft, as this project was started two years ago by this days… Well, I, ve finally managed to prime the Jaktviggen and hopefully I will start with the paint in the following days. But I need help with the colous. It will be finished on the air superiority scheme and will be, probably, this particular aircraft with the rear fusulage borrowed from a splinter painted Viggen http://www.airliners.net/photo/Sweden---Air/Saab-JA37D-Viggen/0170333/L/&sid=4cbe768aa5e0a9d99e006648cb4da15
