  1. I have the old ESCI kit on the line. It is best to build it red white and blue, or just after that scheme. I modified the cockpit as I added very small pieces of sheet onto the base of the cockpit. than drilled very small holes in each piece and than used stretched sprue and glued that into position on the underside of the base. Last to do is to make a joystick. The seat I am using is from the Tamiya 1/48 A-10.
  2. This kit is one of the first F-16's around. Ex ESCI but when that went out of business the molds went to AMT for some time, and several molds now belong to Italeri. It is a kit to stay away from as this is a prototype F-16 or YF-16. I have one on the line and have made new cockpit better seat and mine is going to be prototype but takes time to get it looking good.
  3. @Dave The parts arrived here in good condition!! Many THANKS! Can you please PM me with your adress details, as I cannot make it out from the envelope.
  4. Miliput is very good for large projects, As you can see on the picture. I use the standard miliput and use it for sculpting canopy or other modifications on aircraft models. Tamiya putty I can not buy here in the Netherlands and from what I know from others its hard to get in Europe. Squadron I used in the past, but this dries out in the tube if you have it stored for future use.
  5. I ask this for a friend who bought the old monogram kit. Once home he found out the clear parts are missing . Someone have the clear parts for this kit surplus or from damaged kit? PM me if you have these parts. Thanks in Advance!
  6. Just finished these HVAR I used Lightgrey and olive drab :cheers:/>
  7. I like the instrument panel Dave, tried to pm you but your box cannot receive pm.
  8. AGM-84 SLAM MISSILE These come from Italeri F/A-18 kits 72nd and 48th scale. After sanding them I painted the forward pard yellow Revell 12. The rear of the missile is painted with Humbrol 119 for the band near the tail vanes. Now I tape them up and paint them in modern colour of FS 36375 and for that I use humbrol 127. comments welcome
  9. I would be pleased with the instument panel of the monogram kit if you have it spare
  10. It is from the days that one engineer of Hasegawa started out to have its own company being Academy. From what I remember somewhere early 80's of the past century. I know the Hase kit as well, that one is having same weapons outfot, but also two nozzles for the Gun. But your build looks fine to me MAWZ
  11. The Academy kit is good and builds up fine. Its the same molds as the Hasegawa kit. From academy there are 2 versions released. One in the european one/lizard scheme and the newer 2 tone grey of the Gulf war. The grey has 2 versions you can choose. SP coded and FT with sharkmouth
  12. Thank you all for the best wishes!
  13. I have not seen it yet in the shop here CAG , but as alternative I use Kip tape :D , that is the same as you link to. Tamiya tape I buy also, as that is thinner than kip tape and can be bend better with a curved canopy like the F-16 or F-22.
  14. Nice work Steve!! I'm currently working on an listing of airliners in military service. your information is helpfull for the listing and I'll edit it into the listing. Thanks for explaining!
  15. Does somebody have these instructions? An uploaded scan would be good to have in the listing F-Decal have a sheet for the French AF (AdlA) A340 which includes instructions where to cut the fuselage to shorten it.
  16. @angry_android Thanks for adding info! :D Would the modifications be vissible in 1/144? I'm no expert in airliners and how to get new engines for this kit. Is another kit better to get close to the T-43?
  17. I take notice of this info and add it the next updat. Many thanks for this info!! greatly appriciate4d!
  18. WOW!! This is wonderfull information many modellers are looking for. I'll edit it into the list. Many Thanks Trojan Thunder & Pin
  19. I think some panellines add life to an model.
  20. Just painting them up is the easy way out I think.
  21. Not in most cases. I create an listing for others as well, as its very hard to find info on where to cut an airliner and have it stretched or shortend. And I am not the only one searching for data on how to get an -200 from an -300
  22. I have been searching on the net for information on many airliners and the versions longer and shorter other wings etc. Its Just an idea would be to make an listing of airliners and how to get to the version you realy want to build, but have no idea where and how to cut in the fuselage or wings and what engine you would need to make it a good looking model. Military Designation C-22B Boeing 727 No change, this is a straight B727-200 (Airfix of Minicraft). One Minicraft kit actually comes with C-22 decals C-40 Clipper - This is actually a B737-700. Use Revell B737-800 kit and remove forwa
