Excellent build of one of my favorite jet ever!! I like the way you mad eyour own colours, only the dark green is a bit too much"olive drab" I would have it a bit more bluish. By thet way let me tell you I never seen a model painted with Humbrols and freend some out with such perfect demarcation lines like the one you made. My very best compliments. Hasegawa suggest you to paint it light gray but in all the photos I have (almost a million !!) it looks much darker almost GUNSHIP GRAY. Do you know the correct shade? I'm talking about the high G tank, the same used by F-15s, not the older F-4 tank. TIA Paolo

Well, what can I say? Thank you so much! It is a dream for me. Hope you don't mind if I will printe them all and put them on my workbench as reference. Those photos will be very usefull especially for masking some area where gray paint must show trought the blu. Thank you again. Paolo from Italy

I'm currently workin on Hasegawa 48 scale kit and would like to paint it in two blues as for the Mitsubishi F-2A/B. Now I have to choose the peculiar aircraft to made. So far I have found in the web pictures of Phantoms # 305, 305, 312, 328, 331, 354, 362 and 366, all of them wore in blu recently. Do you know any other F-4EJ KAI with double blues camo scheme? I don't know of any aftermaket but I have 2 F-16A and a friend of mine has 1 F-16B, let me know if you need any Hasegawa decal. Cheers PAOLO

I have a dozen Hasegawa A-4, more than a dozen Hasegawa F-104, 3 Phantoms, 3 Hornets all the above mentioned are in 48 scale. In 72 I have 7 Drakens again from Hasegawa.

No I think you can't do that if you are not a master scratchbuilder. In 48 scale it could be possible since there are lots of resin sets and lef over part from other models to do the conversion. My suggestion is why don't you just build it as an Israeli F-16A? There are lot of exciting colour scheme for IDF F-16A, especially the one from the newly formed aggressor Squadron are really great!

Hello Steven, I also tried to build that kit but failed badly. The Isracast conversion was too much complicated for me. I have the book, the decals sheet and a good collection of pictures byt he way I don't have a scanner, do you think a photo can be usefull too? Cheers Pierpoalo
