  1. I'm sure I have downloaded several photos from a Japanese spotter forum at that time, I have them stored in my office PC, please send me a reminder after Christmas with your mail and I will turn them to you
  2. I also confirm my vote for RAAF new schemes, there is a good walkaround downloadable from the web.
  3. In old times RAT opened as soon as the Viggens opened their landing gear bays and remained opened until the gear bay doors would close after take off. RAT could be also closed by Crew Chiefs for Viggens that were not going to fly soon, so you can find it closed at Open Days or International Air Meetings. Later Viggens were modified to have the RAT open as soon as the oleo of the front landing gear was compressed. It would close as soon as the oleo went relaxes on take off. Again Crew Chiefs could close it for maintenance or not flying display but needed to be re-opened before flight. Flaps
  4. corrected inner wing pylons are needed if you are going to add missiles to it, if not you can leave them as they are I guess. Outer wing pylons only need standard Sidewinder launchers with Nitrogen cooling system. You will also need the RAT if you are going to display your model with wheels on ground.
  5. Sent RWR masters to Maestro last August these should come along the new shoulder pylons at any time now...
  6. I scratchbuilt new correct shoulder pylons, soon to be casted by Maestro, also added Sidewinder launchers from Cutting Edge, Wing pylons are also made by Maestro in resin. Much depends on what charges would you like to add: Eduard Mavericks come with single shot launchers that only needs minor modification to become Swedish-
  7. Hello everyone, I'm currently building a Mirage IIIO and would like to do it as a late service bird with Matra Magic and vents on the top of the nozzle. Problem is I cannot find any detail pic of these vents and cannot image how to scatchbuilt them. Any help will be glady accepted, TIA
  8. Well, I just finished Kinetic Hawk 127 in RAAF markings and found several mistakes: most of the decals are printed in the wrong colour (dark gray istead of light gray and vice versa) many other stencils are missing as well all the stencils for the landing gears (and there are a lot of them!) so a correction set is badly needed and you can also go for the new glossy scheme that is more interesting. For the classic shorter Hawk I can help with several walkrounds of RAF black ones :-)
  9. would like to add a big Missile to my Mirage but my Kinetic kit has no center-line pylon even if holes for it are opened in lower fuselage. I wonder if any box come with this pylon and how its shapes... If you have one to sell or even a photo of it please reply, TIA
  10. all considering bit a bad kit but with a few minor mistakes: most of the stencils for the RAAF 127 are printed in the wrong shade of gray so they just disappear once in place it was really a pity, especially for the many NO STEP. Slime light doesn't fit the PE parts for them, so you better to replace PE parts with larger but shorter plastic strips cut to shape over the decals. There are no instructions for the RAAF variant and many PE parts are not mentioned on the instructions, check the many walkarounds on the web and you will know where to place them. Stencils for ejection seats and la
  11. I will also order a set as soon as available! Nice job!
  12. No, sorry, I used Hasegawa Tritool day-glo foil and cut myself big fuselage numbers and underwing squares from that foil.
  13. I can only watch and learn, this is a masterclass job!
  14. please add the antenna loop under the dome, nobody ever made it and is needed!!
  15. LOL! will build a Norwegian jet full of Trolls next!
  16. Yes, it works. My suggestion: while slying Tamiya gloss use Mr. thinner or Tamiya Laquer Thinner (Yellow cap) instead of Tamiya Acrylic thinner. It will dry faster and smoother and it similar to Laquer Thinner. In the past I used Tamiya Acrylic thinner and had the Aclad Chrome to crack after a few weeks----
  17. it is not a matter of family: Yankees and Gina have only the G.91 name in common, it is just like F-5A and F-5E, everithing changed including dimensions.
  18. Thank you all again. Pitot took some punishment during photo session, luckily it is in metal and I will try to straight it up!
  19. Glad you like it, thank you Andrew, Nutter and Calum
