Hi A6BSTRARM I have not seen or got the Gulfstram yet, I usually get my kits from Aeroclub but at the moment that is a bit difficult. I can however comment on them generally as I have around 20 or 30 of their kits. They are very nice models that, if you take your time and have vacuform experiance, build very well. The only area of concern with them most have is the canopy, these are usually very thin. I generally use them to make a putty master (using milliput) and mould a new thicker one to use. The injection parts can be a little crude but they are workable. $50 sounds good to me ,in Europe

Hi Guys I have about 60 or 70 unbuilt Choroszy kits and 21 Built The quality varies a little but from excellent to very good, I tend to find the instruction sheets the worst area but once you get your head around them they are ok (I would advise additional reference though). Once cleaned up I treat them as I would an injection kit. My latest addition from Choroszy is a Caproni Ca.3, now thats going to be fun to build! All I can say is give them a go and treat them gently and you will get a great model in the end. Pete

Hi Gents, I believe the reason the decals were done for the Sentinal as they were told a certain mixed media kit producer, who specialises in airliners, plans to release one. Hope this helps now its down to you know who!

Hi All I wish to build a model of the Sopwith Dolphin in 1:72nd scale, the 2 kits I am looking at are the Czechmaster Kit and the Chorozey kit. Both are resin, about the same price and available, just wanted to know which one I should go for? Any advice welcome. TIA Pete
-
Morning David its 1:72nd scale, the kit is about £12 the RVHP resin kit is about £50 so I opted for the cheaper kit and was very pleased with it. Thanks for the kind words Peter

Lucian, that is a really great project and a stunning piece of scratch building. I bet that your enjoying this far more than anticipated! Cant wait to see more Peter

Thanks every one. Didn't take any progress pics of the Metro but I will do for the ERJ-145, hope to start her over the Christmas period. I have a Junker J.1 to finish first. Thanks for the correct spelling, save me some time, I will get that done as well and post corrected shot. Thanks again for your comments Peter :D

Hi Guy,s long time since I last posted. Well here is my latest a Mexican Air Force Swearingen Metro. The kit is Broplans vac-uform with scratch built lumps and bumps. Decals were home made as well and there lies the big screw up  My Spanish spelling is not very good! I could have swore I got it right. Next job is to remove the titles, re-vamp, correct the spelling and add new titles. Before then its onwards and upwards with a Brazillian AF EJR-145. I would recommend the Broplan Metro as well, its a nice kit and you can get 3 or 4 for 1 resin version. Any how enjoy. Peter

Hi I use it for attaching canopies, great stuff. You can apply it accurately and it sticks almost instantly, but heres the big advantage if the canopy is out of alignment a gentle twist either way and it comes off cleanly. I think this glue was originally used by jewllers for attaching stones in watches. It will also fill small gaps the only disadvantage is its very stringy.

Hi PM me your address and I will put them in the post this week. Peter

Wow that is one nice Heyford. Looking at her though the thought came to me that there is a lot of weight supported by those struts, imagine landing that a bit heavy and them giving way! Seriously though very nice build. Peter

Hi all, just wanted to share my latest 2 builds both RAF photo recon aircraft. The first is the Tamiya Mosquito converted to a PR34 the second is a Spitfire PRXIX. For the PR 34 I used a mix of Paragon conversion prts and a little scratch building, with all the additional resin its quite a heavy model. The PRXIX was mostley filling and scratch building, the canopy is from Aeroclub. Both models are finished with Extracolour acrylics and Modeldecal decals. Hope you like them and any comments welcome. Peter Forgot the PRXIX is from the Acedemy kit.
