As well as the fact that there is not enough clearance for an AIM-120 to be carried with the GBU-15/AGM-130, both these bombs require the AN/AXQ-14 data link pod, which is always mounted on the centerline pylon, making your original idea not possible....unless maybe his wingman was carrying the DL pod?

Just a question here. I have the -15E Pro Modeler version. Does this not have the LAU-128 rails? They are described as the "long" launch rails for AIM-120. They look similar to the ones that F-4dable are going to be doing (they look excellent by the way) Are these something else? Aaron

I think that ten dollars for four racks is very reasonable. I also have a request to be made. 1/48 single Maverick launchers. I don't believe anyone has produced these yet...(if so, please let me know who)... and I need them! I am sure someone around here has good references for them. I would be willing to pay 6-8 dollars or so for a set of two. Anyone else interested? Aaron

Hi, I have another question that should go along with this thread. If you are using acrylics (Xtracrylics in this case) as your final coat, should you use an acrylic primer as well? If so, any recomendations? This is my first time using acrylics. In the past I have used Krylon white primer, but don't know if it would react with the acrylics. Aaron :(

Hello. More questions. I am wondering if there is any other difference between the F-16D, and the F-16DJ. I have not been able to find a DJ kit anywhere, but have been able to find lots of regular D models, so I was wondering if I could pick one of those up, and since I have two HTS pods from my F-16CJ, attach one on and call it good. Hi Jake Thank you for the response. In my Osprey F-15E's in combat book, and it says that the Lightening II pod was actually installed on the F-15E's from SJ during the latter part of OIF, apparently as an interim pod till the Sniper came on line, but was not specific on whether or not the 391st was also equipped. The general consensus appears to be that it was the LANTIRN pod still. Thank you for your help Aaron

Hi Tom Yes, I actually just got it installed last night. It fit pretty well, just had one problem. I cut away just a little too much on one side of the radar hood, and so I have to fill that this morning. My biggest problem on this kit is the seamlines. Amazingly I did not have to use any filler on the fuse, but in order to get good looking seamlines, I have had to sand away half of the surface detail. That sucks! But oh well, that is life I guess. I do have a question for you though. I bought the Flightpath detail set, and messed up on the engine fan blades, and so have chosen to leave them

Hello, another question. As well as my Warthog, I also have a Strike Eagle in the works. I have the decals from Two Bobs for the 391st Bold Tigers Squadron from OEF. As this is my favorite plane (thus the strikeeagle801) and my favorite squadron (they look SO cool!) I want this model to be absolutely perfect. I have the weapons load-out planned, nine GBU-12's, the light gray war-reserve fuel tanks, and everything else I can think of, but what I don't have is information on whether or not the 391st was equipped with the AAQ-28 TP, or just the AAQ-14 LANTIRN? Any help would be appreciated. Thank

I am currently building the R/M A-10 Warthog, and am going to be using the new release from TwoBobs for the Osan, South Korea based Hogs. The time frame on these decals is December of last/January of this year. My question is do these birds have the full LASTE mods, including the EGI/GPS antennae? Hi LB you might want to check on E-bay, and just type in F-16CJ. Most of what you will get is in either 1/48 or 1/32, but you might luck out. Also, check at www.spruebrothers.com and see if they have any. You might even send an E-mail to Gordon and see if he can help you out.
