I've gotta say I like the red paint schemes on these aircraft neu. A first class set of prints.

Thanks Col. They're not too pretty, as a matter of fact they're down right ugly, but interesting. Thanks dogsbody, I had seen that info. The old model from the 30's is what I used to get the general shape. Cheers.

I did this profile of the Ju 187 just to see what it may have looked like if built. It had some interesting design features: pressurized, remote rear turret, retractable landing gear, vertical tail that dropped down to give rear turret more coverage. I found very little information on the aircraft to build the profile from though.

You're the master of the watercolour Col. A very, very nice piece of work.

Very, very nice Russell. Such great activity in your scene.

Very nice Pete. I especially lke the lighting you used on the aircraft pair.

Great pair of profiles Neu.

Very nice Lightning profiles Clave. I never get tired of looking at lightnings. A true hot rod in my view.

Awesome job Col, you did the old girl proud. The Lightning is one of my favorites. I'm working on an aircraft on the other end of the beauty scale, a Ju-187. Difficult to get information on the design since they were never built. What's next on your list of aircraft?

Thanks for your welcome and comments Neu. Clave, Nice to hear you've visited our little island here. The way I understand it Nakajima started building Zero's in late 40. They were instructed in 41 to build an interim fighter on floats using the Zero until a replacement could be built. Cheers.

Your profiles are masterly Lieuwe. Nice looking F5.

Great looking pair Neu.

I'm always amazed Col at the detail you get in your paintings. Looking first class. When you finally do get the time for all these interests you find you've traded off something else that you can't get back. That would be your youth.

Your work always looks first class Russell. One day I might take the plunge and try something with two wings.

Very nice neu and nicely presented.

Thanks David, Fanakit for your very kind comments.

Thanks for the comment, Mark. Still a little work to do on it when I find some details I'm missing. Cheers.

I'm new to this forum, although I recognize a few of the names already in old posts. My name is Graham Ward and I'm from Vancouver Island. I've always had a love of planes, trains, and automobiles. Spend my spare time in the graphics hobby. I use mostly vectors now for working. I'm always happy to find more aviation art enthusiasts. I enjoyed looking through everyones great work. I don't do too many profiles, but this is one I just completed of the Nakajima "Rufe". Any helpful comments are always welcome. Cheers, Gray.
