1/32 Czech model CT-133 , Belcher Bits decals

no, the 29 is not on my build list. Made the assumption the instructions would show the order.
-
Just go with the instructions, in the order they say to use them. You will have touch ups required no matter how you do it.

That is a single seat CF-104. Have not done a dual in just green........yet.
Here is a couple shots of that one. They tended to be painted green once the gun was installed after Trudeau (senior) said we would no longer use nukes for anything. Hence we had to learn how to use the Mk.82s as shown here.

Never would say never, but in Canada (red tailed at that time) not much other then fuel tanks and more often then not, 4 fuel tanks. Then the 72/73 time frame in Europe, (white tails) the centre practice bomb dispenser was semi common on the CF-104D Mk2. And 4 fuel tanks.
Marking wise this would be the short lived English port side French starboard Canadian Armed Forces markings on the intakes and the CAF roundel last 3 time frame for the fuselage markings. The markings in Canada continuing red tail over bare metal and the Europe airframes a mix of white tail over bare metal and some overall green creeping in. Almost every airframe in the light green grey nose cone with black top. The overall black still a couple years out.

Hey Shawn... is that for a customer of yours? You planning on shipping it? Is that why any 'sticky out parts' are not glued on?
Looks great btw! Absolutely fantastic paint and weathering... one of my favourites of yours for sure 🙂

You got it, Took $40 worth of wrapping and packing stuff, then around $75 to mail it. Ensured it for enough to replace it if the dead bears go nuts on it. But I think it was secure enough.

That is exactly what I need thanks Adam.
Too bad the shipping is SO nuts.

As done as this 1/32 Academy Hornet with Above and Below decals is gonna get by me.

Big thing with old decals, TEST!!!. First test with half a unused decal. Did not crack or anything like that. It disintegrated. Like powder.
That worried me, coat of decal film. Second test, that disintegrated but in slightly bigger parts. Another coat of decal film. The third test shattered, another coat of decal film.
The 4th test worked. Had a couple issues with the long string of words. Did you know that the US Air Force decals from a 1/48 Monogram Voodoo are very close in size to 1/32 scale Navy markings?

My 235 Phantom. 1/32 Tamiya OOB except spare decals and a over 40 year old Micro-scale sheet that took 4 coats of decal film and still needed help. But without the help of another ARCer would never have happened. Thanks Scott !!!!
Then a shot of JUST my 1/32 Phantoms.

Welcome back......from BE...yoooond!

Long shot time. Knowingly picked up a Academy 1/32 F-18C for a commission build which was missing the E sprue. Thats the flaps and wing leaded edges. Tried the company but they will not ship to Canada or seem to have complete sprues anyway.. Can take apart one of my older builds for the parts but would rather not.
Does anyone have the E sprue from a buggered up or will never get finished build? I am sure the 2 seat version will be exactly the same.
Will of course pay as required.

Anyone else going to the model show at the Hamilton Museum March 24?
If anyone wants I am bringing a bag of decals. Figure I can sell them cheap on the spot and NOT have to worry about postage. Mostly 1/48 USN stuff and 1 BIG sheet for a 1/350 Astec movie version Federation starship. (Its like 5 REALLY BIG sheets).
I will be the big old bald guy, (like 90% of the audience) looking for 1/32 scale stuff.

1/48 Belcher Bits S-51. Sucker is all resin but the clear parts. And a bunch of paper clips for the foot entry , engine bits and door frames.
-
Very nice, thanks!

Thanks to Scott Smith I can do up another 1/32 F-4J, in fact its now on the top of the build pile!!
Thanks Scott.

1/48 Monogram RF-101 Voodoo modified into a CF-101 by hacking away the photo stuff and replacing the flat weapons area with half of the weapons from the Kitty Hawk kit. Mostly kit decals with some Leading Edge spares.
The Monogram may be decades older, but has far less issues then the new kit.

The first batch of two seat CF-104Ds were Mk.1. For the most part they stayed in Canada from the beginning until 417 squadron shut down. The Mk.2 were more capable for weapons delivery and for the most part equipped the units in Europe. Near the end of service anything that still flew pretty much got sent overseas and eventually went to Turkey.
