  1. Trouble free transaction with Procopius. Fast shipment, well packed and nice follow-up on the delivery. What else can you ask for?
  2. Thanks Gregg. And happy birthday to my same date buddies.
  3. Nice finish. I always have issues with VF-101 birds with a full live loadout, given their role. Probably just me though.
  4. Actually, the loadout is wrong. No Tomcat could load GBU-24 side by side. Not enough fin clearance for a safe release. That's a very very common mistake on F-14 models.
  5. Placed an order Thursday, got the mail to confirm the order as usual, but no mail to confirm the shipment. But I got the mail today, so as others say, they probably had a little delay due to weather. Anyhow, it seems to get back to normal.
  6. Nice finish, but classic Tomcat modelling mistake: 2 GBU-24 next to each other. Impossible loadout on the real airplane (AFAIK). :)
  7. That would be surprising to see Hasegawa lining up the Italeri Phantom next to their own Phantoms. I owned an Italeri F-4S and several Hasegawa F-4, nothing to be compared. Besides Hasegawa already released F-4S boxings. Just a decal sheet change IMHO.
  8. Interesting method to adjust your rear view mirrors, I will give it a try. But I do also agree with Bigasshamm and ESzczesniak: shoulder check should be quick to avoid drifting in any direction. I will never totally trust my mirrors, and that's how I've been taught too: always check visually by yourself before merging/changing lane. And oh, that also includes turning your friggin signal on! Apparently some people are afraid to use it.
  9. I would second Andre on the F-14: Hasegawa for the win in 1/72. Can be tricky to build but all in all, it's great. I don't know about the Hobby Boss offering. Never had one in my hands.
  10. That's ONE picture. Here are some others with immaculate red tail. ;) http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/20/QF-100D_drones_serviced_at_Tyndall_AFB_1988.JPEG http://kozmik1.com/WEG026.jpg http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/9/99/QF-100_Super_Sabres_at_Tyndall_AFB_1990.jpeg This last one is very interesting as the red is shiny. http://www.airliners.net/photo/USA---Air/North-American-QF-100D/1486275/L/
  11. Guys, the plane depicted is a used and abused F-100 that was then used for targeting purposes. Hence the addition of red placards and new numbering. So, of course, the red and registration are brand new vs the faded camouflage... Eric is a modeller I love to follow as he always post explanatory topics, with step by step. His mastering of "on the model" weathering is awesome! No pre/post shading, most of it is touch ups and it looks great!
