  1. Some more progress guys, all comments welcome Thanks for looking.
  2. Latest update, many smaller bits and pieces added about the hull: More fiddly bits to come <_<
  3. Thank you Some more progress. Amongst a few other things the headlights and their guards have been scratch-built, I'm not completely happy with them but they're as close as I can probably do
  4. Thanks John. The build started off with a Modelcraft Centurion and Legend's IDF 1973 Cent conversion set. I've since added AFV Club's suspension set (that was fun ) an Academy barrel, the smoke launchers came from Cromwell Models (thanks Gordon) and the turret/hull bins came from a Olifant conversion set released after I started the build (which saved some scratch-building). I've also got WW2 Productions very nice resin track set. So it's turned into quite a kit bash
  5. Hi guys. Here's where it stands at the moment: Some parts have been tacked in place to give sense of how it's shaping up. Next job the do will be the headlights and their guards plus some milliput around the mantle.
  6. Shaping up nicely Antoine.
  7. Hi Graeme m8! I thought I recognised these Great builds, the Buffel is my favourite.
  8. Bloody Hell! Great work so far Joe
  9. Good work Joe, nice and busy looking.
  10. Great work Joe, customizing it was a nice touch.
  11. If you're going to scratchbuild a version you'll need to start with Trumpeter's LAV 25, it's the best LAV to use as a starting point. Otherwise there are some resin conversions on the horizon, both Maple Leaf Models and Real Model are work on sets.

Some more photo etch has been added, the large stowage bin is not yet complete and has been only test fitted.

Hi guys, thanks for the comments. James you might be OK yet, I had a similar problem with a gap between the upper and lower hulls: The AFV Club rear hull plate requires some modification: Some plastic needs to be removed first from the two top corners. Next, (I have see two methods used) either some from the top, or alternatively separate the angled part (where the ramp hinges are mounted) from the rest of the rear plate and then sand back both of the edges. Sand very little at a time and check frequently. You can see where from the position of the filler. Hopefully nothing will com

Hi All This is what I have been working on for the last few months: Produced by Real Model, it's mainly a resin and p.e. conversion intended for the AFV Club Stryker.
