    B-52H

Thanks! But those are the decals I have. They are not thorough though. IE....there's stencils on the decal sheet that have no placement instructions on the instruction sheet. But thanks anyhow. Paul

    B-52H

Guys, Top of the day to you! I'm finishing my AMT B-52H and I need to know *where* to place common data stencils. I've looked everywhere. Anybody have a diagram/schematic as to where the common stencils go on the G and/or H BUFF? Thanks, Paul
  3. Hello All, I am new to the forum and recently completed the 1/72 monogram BONE. I crewed the bone for my entire air force career all the way to retirement in 2013. the builds posted here are outstanding ! I have included a few pics of my completed 1/72 scale BONE. The 1/48 scale is in my stash and will be started soon. A lot of scratch building went into the 1/72 kit to bring it to B model specs. If anyone has any questions about the BONE in general I will be more than happy to answer them. Thanks ! What was your job on the BONE? That's very cool! And...beautiful model!
  4. HUH??....A joke or did I miss something??
  5. You KNOW there's gotta be one of coming soon!
  6. You KNOW there's gotta be one coming soon!
  7. Man that is absolutely beautiful!! And....nice stash too!! I second the 72nd C-17. We'll MAKE room!
  8. HE-- YEAH! To be blunt...I really like Revell/Monogram models. Why? Because they're simple, fun and *adequate*. Not to mention cheap. And...if I model them right they can turn out fantastic. I have the others and quite frankly...they're too dam complicated. Yes I like a challenge...but I like fun too. LOTS of fun. I say get the externals correct and maybe a few internals and leave the rest!! Nobody's going to see most of the internals anyhow. If I have people over to my house, I want them to see beauty and artsmanship. Same in model contests. Goodnight and good luck...
  9. YES!! That would make up for a lot and go a looooong way. I'd dam sure buy it!!
  10. Thank you!! If you make....I'll dam sure buy!
  11. You know....with the Modelcollect B-52 announcement I was thinking. I think these guys get it. Really get it. I mean...most of the *world* has been clamoring for an accurate Buff for YEARS! Hello....Revell...Kenetic...Great Wall....somebody!! Would you please make a new tool and accurate line of 1/72 C-130J's?? And oh yeah...a resurrected 1/144 C-5A, B and M would be nice too! And lest we forget...a nice 1/72 C-17! How many years have we been clamoring for these? Thank you....
  12. Yep....I'm all over it. I don't even really care how "perfect" it is....or not. Just love the plane. Worked on them in the Air Force. And by the way...I like the AMT/Ertl/Italeri kit(s)too. If you model them right...they make a fantastic G or H. Love the Monogram D too! Great News!
  13. Ok...this is WAYY too cool! Anybody know the Release Date??
  14. Yep...after looking at the video several times it's clear that he was on a straight down angle. IE...pilot problems. Actually looks like he may have lost consciousness at the top of the loop or something similar. Dam....
  15. Yes....this is what it looked like to me and what seems to make the best sense. But I'm guessing that an engine stall could have affected the control surfaces?? Maybe a dead stick?? Paul
  16. You can see it....he never was able to pull out of the dive back to the runway. Interesting to find out what may have caused it. Sad indeed. Dam...
  17. AWESOME account. Seems reasonable and logical. It even seems like the maneuver itself entails some pretty significant risk. You must be a pilot...?? Thanks...that helps.
  18. Yes Habu....this is all I was wondering also. Helps with closure if you know what happened. It's a sad loss.
  19. Anybody got any ideas on why the BA's FA-18 crashed in Smyrna, TN? Just curious...very sad.
  20. Iceman, Freakin awesome F-4!! Can you explain how you did the decals? Did you use all of the kit decals....the Eduard F-4C Stencils AND the HGW Wet Transfer Stencils? How did you do the stencils? Amazing! Paul
  21. Hello all! I wanted to share my latest completed project, my 8th completed build, the 1/48 Hasegawa F-16C Fighting Falcon. This one took me about 3 weeks to complete. The Hasegawa F-16 is very easy to build, even in in-flight configuration. The wheel bay doors fit pretty well. Over all I used very little putty, mostly at the wing joins and a little on the main gear doors. Hey! No more pics to see! Can you repost? It looks like the link was broken or something.... Thanks!
  22. Yep...did some additional research. You're right. Seems like though...that model manufacturers would make an AF One. They're famous...popular and beautiful. We can only hope!
  23. Guys, There's a new Air Force One coming. I was wondering if anybody knows if there's plans for a new model? And...is there a current 747-8 model out there that would work for a conversion? Thanks!
  24. It's been a few months of on again, off again work, but I finally finished the remodeling of my man cave. Hopefully I can muster up the motivation to actually build a model now! VERY Nice!
  25. Good looking is more important to me. Not a rivet counter...LOL. Although to have as much mean looking equipment as possible hanging off the thing is really attractive too.
