Guys, I'm trying to find pics of the RH-53D in the dark blue paint scheme. I find many in the Engine Grey scheme but hardly any in the dark blue scheme. Anybody out there have any information about Sqn's that carried the dark blue scheme? Times? Dates? Pics? Thanks ahead of time. Paul

You guys are awesome! Where did I ever get the notion that VF-101 was ever a Jolly Rogers Sqn.?? Also...which F-14 JR's Sqn. had the black fuel tanks. Way cool stuff.... Paul

Ok...I'm a little confused. What were the Squadrons that used the Naval Jolly Roger name? What aircraft did they fly? I know VF-84 and VF-103 are involved...but what about VF-101? Did 101 ever use the Jolly Roger name? Finally...which F-14 Sqn. used the black fuel tanks with the yellow band? Thanks, Paul

Pompeo, I looked at the other photos from the link. It looks like there were 2 planes in the shoot. One had the standard 4 blade props...the other one had the eight blade props. Was it the same plane? Fantastic build!! Wow. -
Guys, I used Tamiya Smoke on my CH-53 for exhaust stains. Only....I didn't thin it. It's grainy now. Any ideas about how to fix? I'm distessed...

Do you have any more pics of the KC-135? Great build! Plus....how did you resolve the wing droop issue? Looks good. Paul

Absolutely! It's amazing to me that the Manufacturers are producing ALL kinds of great subjects these days....but they seem to refuse to do an upgraded Herk. Unbelieveable. As many Herks that I see on ARC alone it seems that producing an upgraded Herk would be wayyyy profitable for them. Geez....and how famous is this plane again?? How many years has it been around?? Now with a new lease on it's life with the J. Geezzzz... Maybe Revell or some other manufacturer is reading this post. Hellllooo out there in model land!! 72nd scale...ultra modern...multiple versions including the Commando Solo

Thanks so much! Only on ARC....

Ok...I know I'm going out on a limb here. But what is BRU-33A/A (VER not CVER)? Also....a 'mud mover'? Is that a type of bomb or slang name for the Hornet? Thanks

Wow! My family is from Topeka, KS after immagrating from Europe. Small world I guess. We probably are related somehow. Not many people with the Miner last name. Usually spelled Minor. About the wing droop...my ideas are along the lines of the thin brass or steel sheets. But you have to bend those sheets properly so that the wing flex is right. I.E...the wing tips warp down a little when assembled. Not only does the wing droop...the wing tips need to flex up a little. I'll send some pics when I get more done. Take care! Paul

Justin, I'm building mine straight from the box. I don't have a build thread going because I have about 5 projects going at once. Hard to keep up with the progress of each. I work on them when I can. But the wing droop thing has me spoofed. I don't want to mess that up. I'm still unsure as to how I am going to -perfectly- resolve the issue. There's several different "fixes" out there but I don't like the results of any of them. Ok..Ok...I'm a freakin perfectionisst. So I've been told. But if you're gonna get the wings to look like a great representation of the real thing...then it's gonna tak

Jminer...be careful of the dreaded wing droop in this kit! It can be seen clearly in the photo in the above link. I'm working on one myself. Paul
