  1. To me...this is a form of art in addition to being an incredibly enjoyable hobby. If it's not really stoopid stuff...I'm all over it as an expression of oneself or culture. If that F-15 is not accurate...he dang sure did a fantastic job to make it look like it!! Lovin it Paul

    F-111C

    Company and scale?
  3. I still say...WHERE'S OUR C-17!!!??? Looked at some pics of the Nimrod MR1/2 on the Net. Fantastic! Tried to pre-order at Hannents last night. They wanted the plastic... I'll hold off till lI know the price and release date. Happy Turkey Day! Paul
  4. Great stuff on your website! Thanks for sharing. For all the pains that the Ts B-2 kit causes.....it's still the only 72nd game in town. But if you are careful and build it right though...man it turns out stunning. Like I've said before...I'm a sucker for large jet bombers & transports. Just not enoough room!! Looking forward to more pics. Yeah!! Paul
  5. All I've got to say is that the Nimrod is an awesome A/C. I'll but 2 for sure. But then, being large myself I love building large jets. All I've got say is...if these manufacturers are going SO far out of their way to produce these rather unusual 72nd scale jets.....WHY NOT A C/17 GLOBEMASTER III!!!!??? Are they blind, deaf and dumb or just stoopid!!?? Paul
  6. You say it was cancelled?? Uhhh...why? I'm definitely in. Already working on RM Superbug. Danged intakes are kickin my butt. But then I've got AMD. (anal modelers disease) What'd you call it Dave? (Dave Roof) Paul
  7. More pics please!! Beautiful job!
  8. Intakes??....anybody know? Paul
  9. My question is whether they updated the fit of the intakes?? That's the only thing that keeps me away from buying this kit. Does anyone know? Paul

    STAY AWAY

Being somewhat of a pyro....I do this kind of build with NO intention of making it look good. Strong for the pounding they're about to take....but no work. Then I pack them with so many fircrackers and bottle rockets, I'd make the Discovery Channel. (plus a light dousing in gas) After I set em off and the thing is billowing black smoke, I definitely feel I got my $8.00 worth of pleasure. That's how you do it! Paul
  11. Very...very nice! And what kind of helo is that in the background??
  12. For me...Monogram. You just can't beat the detail for the $$$. Raised PL's...but good detail...But then cheap. Paul
  13. Oh heck yeah!!! Not bad at all!! Keep it up! Paul '
  14. OMg...!! That's awesome! I've been looking the cyber world for weeks trying to find pics from that angle/perspective. Thanks!!! I don't know about you guys but the RM intakes have been -no- piece of cake. I know we complain a lot about Crapilleri kit but I've never done that one. If Crapilleri is worse, then no dang wonder you guys moan!!! Is it me or is the RM Superhornet intakes somewhat of a pain? Paul
  15. Hey...I'm really into the Viper right now and would love to have a Hasagawa 'Big Mouth' CJ. I'm wrestling with the Revell ADF offerieng and it's really Ok for the price. But I really, really want the Has. offering to compare. I've never made the jump you see... Anyway...I looked at Squadron and others and the best I could do was $30.00 shipping and all. Being the cheapskate that I am...I want one as cheap as possible. Trying to save to buy a house right now... But I really want the Has 1/48 F-16CJ. Any ideas? Habu.. Your sites ROCKS. I probably spent about an hour there. Thanks a milli
  16. Top of the mornin to all.. Ok....I've had a lot of trouble this weekend getting the intake trunks painted just right on both my 1/48 F-16 and my RM FA/18E. Specifically, I'm finding it difficult to get the white/gray demarcation line masked just right. IE...a perfectly even line. Specifically, I'm finding it difficult to get the tape into the trunks just right and then burnishing it down so as not to have an uneven edge...bleed-under, etc. Anybody got any ideas/suggestions/tricks?? Thanks, Paul

  20. Not bad....but how bout a 1/144 or 1/72 C-17 for crying out loud!!!!
  21. Wing Nut...thanks for the tip. Last question.. How did you paint the yellow & black stripes themselves? (on the ejection handles) They look fantastic. Paul
  22. Great work!!!! About the ejection handles... What type of wire did you use and what size? Also...how did you get the bend for the handles themselves so precise? Thanks in advance! Paul
  23. Rotorhead, How did you do the shelves? Home-made or from a retail kit?? Thanks, Paul
