Hey guys, I'm looking for some decals. I'm willing to trade or buy. Gonna post this in Jet Modeling also. But I need the decals for the AMT/Italeri 72nd B-52H. Mine are old and just break up when dipped in water. Can anybody help? Thanks! Paul

Wonderful!! I just hope they re-release the whole line....especially the French model.

LOL...I love it. Wrinkled skin. I'd not thought of that. The wing thing is an easy fix....even if it may be a little off with the new one. Yep...I'm all in if the workmanship is fantastic. Pricey or not. But the Roden C-5? Ain't gonna happen....

You all are awesome Raymond. I will probably buy the E-2 and C-2 soon. I've always loved those planes. As for the C-17....I'll wait. Thanks for the update. Can't wait to see the C-17 out!!
-
Thank you Raymond! I'd rather have it done right than be disappointed. But is the C-17 still going to be released someday? I hope you have not cancelled the project. Thanks!
-
Yep....I know. Hoping for the BUFF soon afterwards...
-
Thank you! Any release date yet?
-
And while were at it....any word on the Modelcollect 72nd B-52H? I'm getting anci!
-
Anybody know anything about the Kinetic 72nd C-17? Any word??

Kit makers always do this. It may be discontinued because demand has fallen off. Its an amazing kit. I doubt if it's gone forever. Somebody else may pick up the molds. Gotta build up demand again. Revell has done this several times with their "D". Great kit...but it is only released every 5 years or so.

Well....lets hope things are different!! Great product...just not worth the price. I live near Dobbins. C-5M's rock! Beautiful with almost no noise.
-
Yeah....I tend to agree. Good modeling....

Thanks Anthony. We're with you. I think its amazing so far!!

Yes!! If Roden is smart...they'll listen and adjust. If they do...I'll buy....several! But the Apocalypse couldn't make me buy as it is now. Again....$40 - $60 is the MAX this thing is worth. And personally?...closer to $40 is more like it. And you're correct...The panel lines are way too deep and wide. I thought the same thing....

All I got to say is that if Roden is smart...they'll listen to these forums. I haven't been to the other major modeling sites yet this week but my guess is that there's other conversations like this going on all over the Net. They'll make a profit by selling ton of them. It's the Law of basic economics. Laws that are for the most part immutable. Can't be changed. $40 - $60 is fair and I believe a generous price to pay for what's being offered. We can only hope.....
-
Just curious...is it a reissue of the 144th or the 72nd scale? Have you got a link?
-
We're on page 5 and counting....Haha! I guess Roden touched a nerve....

Hey...that's an idea! Maybe do an A400M in British cold war camo. The F-4's in that camo were wickedly awesome...
-
Haha!!.....awesome! Do it! I fully intend to do a 72nd A400M in Air Mobility Command color & markings. Already have the decals....
-
Amen!! Thank you. It's dam disappointing....

Now this makes the best sense yet. Business is not rocket science. You give consumers a good product....possibly even more than they ask for....and charge a reasonable price and you sell a million of them.... This is why Revell has been around for so many years and is one of my top 3 favorite manufacturers. They get it. Their A400M was/is an amazing product. For the first time in my life I paid $60.00(+) for a Revell model. GLAD to do so. It will provide hours of joy at a blessed hobby and produce a stunning result that I will be proud to show off to people that come to my house. I l

Just thinking out loud here. If Revell (or someone) has the original C-5 molds....how hard would it be for them to new tool a decent cockpit and decent interior? Nothing real fancy....just something to add value. And yes....partner with Zvzeda for new engines. Or....doesn't someone already have some newer C-5 engines in resin? In fact...I think I have a copy. LOL....gotta check.... But yeah...Revell maybe partner with the engines already out there.... Example? The EP-3E from Hasagawa. Has beautiful resin parts....
