  4. G'day! I think that all the P47 of that era had the camera installed. Take a look in this site:http://www.rudnei.cunha.nom.br/FAB/ Cheers mate and good lucky!

  7. Hi! Do you what is my trick to glue the wings? I glue the fuselage, after it has set I glue the inner part os the wings, trying to match all the points correctly, after it has also completely set I glue the upper wing parts, this way I can make it match closely to the joint of the fuselage by dry fitting it, and if, by any chance, there was a over part of the wing on it´s point I just sand it flush with the inner part. I works for the most birds I did lately! Cheers
  8. Hi Ed! Thanks for sharing this informations, they helpped me a lot! Searching around various sites on the net, icluding some in french, I got a consistently indication for the use of : FS 36375 (Humbrol 127) and FS 35164 (Humbrol 144) for the camo, so I think I´ll try it. By the way! Are from Belo Horizonte MG Brazil? I´m asking due your avatar on your signature post, I´m from Lavras/MG Southeast Brazil, it´s near 235km from BH. Regards! And thank you very much again! Paulo
  9. Hello! I´m currently doing a Mirage 2000C, a modelo from Heller in 1/72nd scale, planning to paint in Brazilian Air Force. The questions: 1) Where do I find good pics for the cockpit? 2) What is the colors, FS or Tamiya or Humbrol or Model Master, etc, for the camo scheme? Thanks on advance for your attention. Regards Paulo
  10. I think on the same way mate! I build for fun! Cheers Paulo
  11. Hello all! Here is how the model turnned up! I did it with the paint scheme for the 602nd Squadron " City of Glasgow" flown by FL Pierre Clostermann (DFC DSO) with D-day stripes. I did a mistake and putted the upper wing roundel over the invasion stripes, silly me, I just followed the Italeri instructions on it.... But I hope you like it! Critics and comments are welcome! Cheers Paulo
  12. For 1/72nd scale I ´d recommend the revell AG model of P47D #04155. It doesn't have the stabilizator fin, but is very fine engraved recessed panels kit and at a very discount price. Highly recommended for a brazilian bird, along with some of FCM decals sheet available at: www.libertyquality.com.br Regards Paulo
  13. Thank you for the attention replying! I´ll try to make my best, if it ends at least resembling a Spit, it´s OK! Cheers Paulo
  14. I completly agree with you mate! But I the kind guy that like some challenger and since I got some model in stack I build it! There was a Tiger tank from Tamiya, but with 70´s molds ;) I built it, but with a lot of improvements that brought it sort of to nowadays standards, but it took a whole year to complete, if you ask me if it worth the job I would say yeah! Principally cos I experiment a lot of new techniques and materials, some it was funny! In the MIG 25 I just built straight from the box, just because I knew I´ll probably build another, this time a Condor Best regards! Paulo
  15. Thanks! What do you mean about to put a spacer between the fuselage and the nose, it is suppose to increase it´s lenght? How much I have to increase? Cheers Paulo
  16. Yeah I know! But unffortunatelly I had it in stack, so I gave it a try! Cheers
  17. Hello all! I´ll start building this kit, does anyone have some suggestions, hints or tips to help? I´ll make it with the Pierre Clostermann paint scheme, using the kit decals. Thanks on advance! Cheers!
  18. Hi all! I´m 1/72nd modeller, and following this topic I´d like to know about the Italeri kit, it make a good Tomcat? I mean straight from the box, here in Brazil is not easy to get hands on aftermarket items, so I´m used to build my models straight from the box, and the Italeri kit is more available the Hase and Fujimi ones. What do you say? Thanks on advance! Cheers Paulo
