  1. I forgot about that and just won myself another 757. It's time to get the putty on order again I suppose.
  2. Haha, should have known it would be you to say something like that :P
  3. Hi everyone, I am about to make Revell's 737-800 in KLM colours but I'd love to put some lights in this one as it's something I've always wanted to try. I've had ideas with mini 1.8mm LEDs and fibre optic cable. If I used these items what are the best ways to fit lights into this smaller model? Or if anyone has some other suggestions of what to use as a light source and how to fit these, your replis will be handy! Many thanks for your time and any replies will be greatly appreciated. Eren
  4. Seb, the decals are looking incredible. It will be great to hear from you once they are done. Great work. All the best Eren
  5. Hi everyone, I have some airliners, decals and models for sale on ebay. A few days left so take a look :) Items for sale Many thanks Eren
  6. Hi everyone, please take a look at my stands on ebay. Made by myself. Names, make and model of the aircraft can be etched and can be personalised to your request! Thanks  Click here!
  7. Hi everyone, I'm going to try something I've never done before and cast an existing model into a silicone mould and use a resin mix to replicate it. Something I've wanted to try for a while to see results. Has anyone done this or does anyone have any experience in resin casting that they could pass on to me like the best ways to take the mould of the plane etc and tools and tips I can use? Many thanks in advance. Eren
  8. Hi everyone. I had a go at making Revell's Airbus A319 finished in the GermanWings livery. A quick build but a great one at that. Not much modification to the kit itself so it's pretty much out of the box. I decided to finish it with the wheels up on a stand which I made myself and completely unique to this model. Thanks for looking everyone and please let me know what you think of the model. Also, I am in the position to make the stands for anyone interested, completely bespoke to any model and the engraved text can be anything you'd like, whether it be the model, make, scale or a specia
  9. That does look fairly close actually. I saw on a paint conversion site that the equvalent to revell number 51 is Tamiya's X-14 sky blue but I cant seem to find this anywhere. Strange. If you did want to check for yourself, the website is here Thanks for your help
  10. Thanks for the reply Boz. Do you know what number spray tamiya would be best for this blue? I did actually try the revell airbrush spray gun with the aerosol attatchment but unfortunately it didn't work so I've been looking at getting one with a compressor. Any other help will be much appreciated. Thanks
  11. Hi everyone I am about to start building the TUIfly Hairbo special paint but I don't plan on hand painting the fuselage. Does anyone know the closest blue spray paint to the revell colour number 51? Preferably Humbrol spray paints but any close match will do. Thanks for your time Eren
  12. Hi Dennis Thanks for the reply. I didnt actually see the artists impression mark in the corner. Thanks for that, I was hoping to find another set of Iron Maiden decals and make the 757 in this scheme but maybe no more...
  13. Oh right. I knew astraeus owns many other airlines, I thought this was one of them. Do you by any chance know the tail registration of this, if it is OJIB or if this scheme was used before the new Iron Maiden scheme was released? Thanks
  14. Great looking model there. Looks incredible with the flaps and wheels in landing config. I'd love to be able to make something like this one day. Best wishes Eren
  15. Anyone? Actually, my main question is; what is the airline in this scheme? Many thanks
