Here's a couple of pics of my RM F/A-18E.I've just painted it using Xtracrylix and Vallejo and it's shortly to be glossed.A bit of work required for this kit but I've got another and I've learned a couple of things. Stephen

Tipp-ex typewriter correction fluid,excellent for filling small seams. Bicarbonate of soda;combined with CA glue is excellent filler Halfords auto primer;white and grey.the best for all models Halford's aluminium and Nissan Silver great for NMF Halford's Clear lacquer fantastic gloss finish. Blu-Tak;a million uses Cocktail sticks; stiiring paint,applying paint and glue. Stephen

I'd recommend it with reservations as you need to be prepared to do some work.but the Paragon goodies make the difference. Stephen

I e-mailed Airfix to see if they had an idea of a release date since the website says "early summer".I got reply this morning to say September 05. Decal options are to be 73Sqn RAFMalta 222Sqn RAF MH434 (old Flying Machine Company) 421Sqn RCAF (This is a high backed MkXVIe) Stephen

The Fin correction makes a BIG difference as the forward base of the fin is not the correct shape.All you have to do is cut on a panel line and add it on.it only takes a little filler to blend it in.The wheels are more detailed and flattened with being bulged.the give a very nice sit to the model. I built this a while back,apologies for the pics as they're not the greatest.The kit is the Hasegawa F-16CJ with decals from Fox One for a Colorado ANG a/c.Weapons are from the Hasegawa weapons set "D" The ALQ-184 ECM pod,ALE-50 TRD,PIDS pylon and exhaust nozzle are from Shawn Hull's resin accessories.
