    It's a great kit, I've built the C-130J-30 and C-130H. Very easy to put together. C-130J-30 C-130H
  5. KC-135R parts here https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235109524-roden-1144-boeing-rc-135vw-rivet-joint/&do=findComment&comment=4640375
  6. The A-10C Display Team has one of their Warthogs painted up as Memphis Belle III.
  7. I received the kit this week and the surface finish on mine is the same as the above photo.
  8. That reminds me of the scheme that Pakistani AF Sabre F.6's were painted in.
  9. I use MRP all the time and I've never had a problem with coverage. I always shake the bottle thoroughly and it goes down beautifully.
  10. I'd like to see this scheme in 1/72 and 1/48 , PAX River SAR last Sea King in US Navy markings https://www.airwarriors.com/community/threads/navy-bids-farewell-to-the-venerable-sea-king-and-marines-say-thank-you.33440/
  11. I agree, this kit is perfectly buildable and I've seen several builds where they didn't worry about very minor issues and just built it. This kit is not perfect but no kit is but it's a thoroughly enjoyable build and close enough to an AM for me without rivet counting.

  13. What about US Navy/Marine SAR helos such as those based at the various air stations? I'm thinking of the SH-3s , MH-60S and HH-46. I'd love to see Pax River and China Lake.
  14. IIRC Iraqi MiG-21's carried the Matra Magic missile and I've seen Pakistani J-7s with the AIM-9P Sidewinder.
  15. For the Italeri kit but you get the idea https://quinta-studio.com/en/product/617/
  16. From what's in the box, bearing in mind that the plastic in both is identical and that some options will require strengthening plates the subject of which has been frankly flogged to death here you can build the following; F-16A Block 15 F-16A Block 20 Taiwan. F-16AM MLU. For an F-16ADF there are bulges tail parts but you would need to replace the IFF parts, the AIM-7 Sparrow pylons are included in the Kinetic F/A-18C. F-16C Block 25 F-16C Block 32 F-16C Block 42 F-16C Block 52 There are tail extension parts and fairing
  17. More great pictures, thanks forsharing them.
  18. CVW-14 on the USS Abraham Lincoln had the F-14D (VF-31) and F/A-18E (VFA-115) on deployment 2002-2003 including Operation Iraqi Freedom. IIRC when the USS Nimitz was enroute to the Persian Gulf, VFA-14 and VFA-41 forward deployed 2 x F/A-18E and 2 x F/A-18F to the Lincoln for use as additional tankers.
  19. Exactly! Kinetic would have had to mould several sets of fuselage parts to allow for the various strengthening plates layouts depending on versions.
