  2. Hey, small world - I flew in to pick up a tanker out of the depot at Tinker 20 years ago. You probably worked on that one - thanks, it worked as advertised!
  3. Actually, the KC-135 has a narrower fuselage. Boeing changed the shape - from a circular cross-section, to a "double-lobe" - to allow for 6-abreast seating in the 707. I think some cargo versions of the 707 had the large cargo door as well - I don't know if the cargo 707s had windows or not, it's been a long time since I've seen one up close.   6. As Ken said, MyAviation.net is part of Airliners.net. They don't really have any screening guidelines (within reason), so you see a lot of a.net rejects get uploaded there. A.net's screening procedures (quality, consistancy) are a regular topic on their forums. I have one shot there, I've given up trying to upload further. I now upload exclusively to JetPhotos.net JP.net has high standards, but they seem to be more inclined to try to accept (rather than reject) photos. I have a friend who just became a jp.net screener, and have learned a lot about the "behind the scenes" process involved
  7. Turns out, we got one more chance to see the big Cat...October 4, 2006, the last ever USN flight of the F-14 returned this bird back home, and she will eventually be on display at the Grumman plant in Bethpage, NY.
