Thanks Evert...the past couple Red Flags have been launching a lot earlier in the day when the lighting isn't the most favorable. Sometimes you can time when they pass in and out of decent light...shooting RAW and doing a little tweaking in Photoshop can help a little bit. i enjoy shooting in crappy weather though...gives me a chance to play with lighting and composition and get a little *arsty* on occasion. I use a Canon 40D with a 100-400mm L l

Thanks! These are all tour helicopters...you can take tours of the Las Vegas Strip and the Grand Canyon areas here. They are always in the air. Once in a while I'll get to see the various local and outlying area medical helicopters while I'm on the job.
