  1. hummmmmmm actually Ps : keep talking about kits and she will buy you kits and tools ==> own experience
  2. if the final version is what we are seing I will say no way it will be a miracle to get of of this a good tomcat without new aftermarkets ;) a good looking tomcat out of trumpeter will cost a lot and the amount of corrections required will be pretty heavy I prefer to stick with the old tamiya version at the moment
  3. U should use tamiya putty epoxy quick type to remold the excess cut area and recut and sand I am this kind of freak too
  4. bad shaped and uneven from the middle to the exterior no kidding :P
  5. Ok great Arcers !!! they will be on holiday soon so This viper will be finish in january it gives me time to finish up with the amo :D I will trade with them !!!!!! somewhere over the rainbow :)

  8. Hello guys I am based in France and getting replacement part for a kit is a nightmare I currently building a 1/32 F-16CJ and I am not really happy with tail paint job. the rest is good The primer + the paint + the golss + the flat finish became bad at the end I try to remove the paint but this did dammage the details So I am seeking for a spare prue C === that contains the tail to finish this beauty Do you have a nice contact "company" to help me out who should I ask ? Tamiya only consider Japanese request  anyone succeed to get replacement parts ?
  9. with my revised opinion of the new trump tomcat : Tamiya needs to keep producing the old tomcat and wolfpack design should keep it up with the D conversion set in 1/32 of course :P
  10. thr rear canopy issue that you have are on all UB model it is not even === mold issue and pls do not glued the F-18 front canopy part : you will screw up your flanker big time and be aware that this kit requires a lot of sandpaper but if you r not looking for an accurate flanker no other changes are required
  11. yes but the nose is too short and the instakes are overdone and the nose section have fancy panel line there is no match here chris from zactomodel did put comparaison pics http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index....=167272&hl= seriously : you have to see the parts in real life to understand that there is no match
  12. I think it takes time as I remember when I first apply the grey it was like the new application if my memory serves me right funny thing I think if you build fast you see nothing but if you take your time or if you correct paint job : suprises do exist I hope it will turn out ok in couple of weeks here is a pic
  13. ok here we go The weel bay are good but be ready to do plumbing on the rear too as trump details is weak and the balance will not be ok incredible details next to crapy details ain't look good for the exhaust : they are not really necessary even if I bought it for my UB but to build the flanker : you absolutely need at least the zactomodel resin nose an extra set of air intakes will be also good : it all depends on what want and beware that the canopy shape is way off Do not even think about glueing it the canopy if u want a flanker but Zactoman is going to vacuform the canopy next
  14. Sorry to hear that too keep it up and do another viper  remember this : the next project is always better cause you learn and develop skills  Ps : get the tamiya !!
  15. Hello I have an issue after I had to repaint the tail of my f-16 Basically my previous paint was about 2 months ago and when applying the same grey again I have noticed that the shade is darker I used tamiya AS-28 and the can was full so fresh paint has a different color and the shades changes with time ? very weird Anyone has expreinced that before the block part of the tail is a bit darker than the vertical tail it is not really abvious on a photo
  16. I am really happy to see that a new 1/32 tomcat is on the way I understand that for a chinese company it is pretty hard to get the exact look of the tomcat but I agree with Sillymay all they need is Daco book I have it and honestly : with it you can spot all the rivets and shape it is amazing = You do not need to see the real plane  pls pls give us a great tomcat looking good so far Just a request from an 1/32 ******** builder that I am :P
  17. Hello thks for the comment yes OOB As I do not use airbrush at all I am thinlking about some gentle wash metallic grey + dark paint mix plus oil effect here and here but nothing figured out yet Ideas are actually welcome here I would like to do really light weathering as it was not easy to obtain a clean paint
  18. sorry for late updates And I realised that this should have been posted in "in progress topic" Ok I did some decaling I changed the tail look and add some touch on the front Pls let me know how it looks before I spray on them I did not really like the colors parts on the tail so I did not use them and 91 AF 416 was push back as I was scared to deal with the non flat surface I added the red missile and the let s roll Is the balance ok ????
  19. you are right !!! accuracy and trump do not match !! that is why I need full view of the test shot
