Does Hasegawa still issue the Navy line of 1/48 Phantom kits, with raised panel lines, which were first released in the mid 1980's? I have a 1/48 Hasegawa F-4J with recessed panel lines, but am interested to know if the raised panel line kit versions are still produced? Thanks, Jeff

Jeff M. posted a topic in The Spares Box - add scale to your title
I need the cockpit part for a 1/48 Hasegawa A-4E/F Skyhawk kit. I figure someone might have this part in their spares box because they used a resin aftermarket cockpit. Thanks, Jeff -
Thanks!

What is the typical flap position of an F-104G while parked? Most pictures appear to have the flaps lowered, while other photos show the oppostie. I know that flaps on a P-51D or an F4U Corsair were always lowered. Is the same true for the F-104? Jeff

Does the 1/48 Eduard P-39Q kit come with the same parts as the Eduard p-400 kit? Can I build a P-400 using the P-39Q kit? Thanks Jeff

Looking for Canadian Air Force F-101 Voodoo Decals
Jeff M. replied to Jeff M.'s topic in Jet Modeling
1/48 -
I'm looking for decals for the overall gray paint scheme for the Canadian Air Force F-101 Voodoo. The 1985 issue of the Monogram F-101 Voodo kit I have comes with the decals I want, but we all know how well Monogram decals from the '80's work... Any aftermarket direction that you can point me to would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jeff

Can the tropical version of the Spitfire be built from 1/48 Tamiya Spitfire Vb kit? I know that the tropical version of the Tamiya Spifire kit offers two different fuselage "chin" parts, but can one of the tropical versions be built from the Tamiya Vb kit issued in the gray and green paint scheme? Thanks, Jeff

What's the correct underside color for the Luftwaffe F-104G with the splinter camouflage scheme? I'm not sure if its gray, silver or exposed aluminum. Also, what the underside color for the "Marineflieger" F-104G with the gray topside color? Thanks, Jeff

Hobbies Unlimited in San Lorenzo is outstanding! I've been a customer since 1982 and there is no better hobby shop in the East Bay. The shop carries an excellent inventory of plastic (cars, planes, armor & ships) along with trains, RC, etc. It also has an excellent inventory of accessories, paints, magazines, reference books, etc. San Lorenzo is located in between Hayward and San Leandro. Hobbies Unlimited is located off Hesperian Blvd. about two miles north of the Hayward airport. Jeff

Thank you for the excellent reply. They are different molds, both with their pros and cons. This question has been asked here a couple of times before - search is your friend.
