  1. Hi, Try the back of a new #11 Xacto blade. It worked perfectly for me Pascal
  2. Hi, Another old build. This time this is the beautiful Tamiya CORSAIR. Ken WALSH "13" scheme. Pascal
  3. Hi, Awesome build! Panels and rivets are a bit too dark ad dirty... But the build is one of the best I've seen about the Ford! Pascal
  4. Hi, few pics of an old build: I LOVE the SKYRAY ;) Pascal
  5. Hi, More pics of the work done on the Ferrari... 2nd part of the seat is now covered with ferrari fabric. A light correction has to be done on the upper corner of the seat to put the fabric in the right direction. Seat will be covered of flat acrylic varnish. Fire extinguisher cleared with Alclad light sheen. Light work on radiators. Still need to work a bit on it... Few pics: That's where I am for the moment. I hope you enjoy it... Pascal
  6. Fire extinguisher quickly tuned on the lathe and braided line/AN fitting/turned part glued! Pascal
  7. Switches test fitting and also test fit for the fire extinguisher push button turned part. Brake fluid tanks assembled to the main body and lightly tinted. Some wires added behind gauges and RPM meter. here are few pics: Pascal
  8. Hi again, Great kit, great car and.... some work to do! Front disc: Small turned part for the battery switch: Oil Tank is soldered using low temp soldering few parts added on the engine and a test fit of the engine with the rest of the car: Pascal

  12. Hi again, ... with more paint progress: "Giallo Modena, Zero Paint: Mask off: Pascal
  13. Hi, I would like to share with you the build of the nice MFH kit of the Ferrari 312PB Sprint Version. Few paint job is already done. Paint is from Zero Paint and clear coat is also ZP 2K. I used Ferrari Red, Pure White, Giallo Modena and semi gloss black. Metallic paints are mainly from Alclad. The kit will be almost built OOB. I will just turn few small parts and add small details. Some engine parts assembled: Masks for the other color "Pure White" ZP: More to come soon. Pascal
  14. Low body painted in red. I'm still wondering wether I'll use 2K or Low sheen to depict the 1951 paint finish... I've also work on the exhaust. I didn't like the rear end of the exhaust provided, so I machined a new one in a piece of aluminum. The original "pipe" was cut off ...and replaced with the new one. The different tubes and rough material: Hope you still like the build of the Red Bullet. More to come soon I hope. Pascal
  15. Small work done on the lower body: louvers opened on both side, pink is on waiting for the Ferrari red. Exhaust started, but still need a lot of work... paint.... Ferrari Red paint soon and then clear coat... Thanks for looking. Pascal
  16. Me again, and again 'n'again... Red is on! Hope you like the color... Pascal
  17. Primer: Pink primer to enhance the red: Pascal
  18. :nanner:/> I quickly turned a part to hold the steering wheel during paint ops: Maskol and primer ...Quickly followed by acrylic Flat Earth. Then oils... But I still have to work on the wheel. Prep of the different parts of the body, but not the bottom part... Pascal
  19. Hi, Still progressing on the "piccola macchina da corsa rossa". I've tried to represent the link between the Throttle pedal and the carbs Body parts prepared and test fitted on the chassis prior to paint job Here is what will still be visible of the engine once the body parts will be installed Pascal
  20. Brake drums with their fittings Radiator in place ...and connected! Fuel lines to the tank and the engine fuel pump Dash board and shift lever temporarily fixed Same thing for the seat to test fittings of all the parts Mori Mori OK and sanded: ready for paint! Hope you still like it... Pascal
  21. Hello I turned a part and fix it on the fuel tank: Parts for the tank straps Fuel tank webbing Everything will be hidden so no detail here! Engine in the chassis!! The firewall, the center tunnel, the shaft are also permanently set in place: The upper plate Pascal
  22. :boohoo:/> small progresses on the Little Red Monster... Riveting started on visible areas of the fuel tank: Around the fuel filler cap and behind the driver seat. A test to depict a discreet fuel leak... I also made a test to realize the rivets on the wheel rim. A bit too big maybe and to glossy on the pics, but I've just put some satin clear on the gold rivets. I'm not sure I will keep it like this... BEURKK!... In fact I was pretty unhappy and found it more and more awful! So I lightly progress on the subject: PLOUF!(Sound of the wheel into the Cellulosic thinner
  23. :sunrevolves:/> I just "painted" the pedals buy dry brushing them with Humbrol Metal Cote Mat Alu and still have to give them a sheen. I also realized that the brakes and the throttle pedals were inverted... So I made a new slot of 1.5mm width using my Tiger saw on the left side of the right foot location... Then I put the part of WM which was cut off and put it in the former slot and weld it in place. The throttle pedal then found the right place on the right. The two following pics will surely be a better explanation than what I wrote above... Wide view with a test fit of the mete
  24. Gear box without the tanks this time... A wide view... Still working into the cockpit. Test fitting of the dash board and the bulkhead or firewall(?) ... Pedals have been quickly textured, even if they are pretty well hidden... Just need to paint them with aluminum. "Arrival" and "departure" have been added on the mid fuel pump to reach the backward fuel tank. Same thing was done on the engine and I will "just" have to join the engine fuel pump to the mid fuel pump (the one near the seat, driven by the drive shaft)... and then the fuel circuit will be OK
