  2. Only ones i know of are the boring ones that comes with the Revellogram (see below) These are the ones i'm doing, or i may look at doing my own.
  3. <_< Looking good so far, keep us updated regards
  4. This last two weeks have been fantastic, i've gotten lots done and have managed to get some kits closer to completion. Anyhoo another update of this beast. Decals on, a couple have silvered a little but i'll fix those up. The windows are still covered but that'll come off tonight. Just the landing gear and some light details to do. Hope you like it. ps, i don't know why the dark green comes out looking so dark, you can see the demarcation on the nose between the black & green. I'll try to figure it out on the camera.
  5. Hey Nev, I did'nt make it fuzzy on purpose...... Honest You can't actually see the duff painting but where the blue, gold and white join, well they did'nt. The paint went something like blue/gold/blue/white Doh. I think i need to step away from the beer-can
  6. Revell 1/144 Boeing 767- ER, still to finish decals. Then paint and detail engines. regards
  7. Almost done, i've got the fiddly bits to add, thought i'd post it with another bird that i have spent some time working on. The chistmas holiday has let me do no less than 5 models all needing minor details to finish.
  8. before & after. Before to give the decals something to adhere to, and after to seal decals in and allow for weathering. HTH regards
  9. ooohhhh that looks just about right. looking good. regards
  10. I'm in the midlle of putting the decals on, the kit itself is ok, however my painting of the white ;) and blue  B) leaves much to be desired. Still to do the engines and other bits, trust me it will look better when it's done. I just wanted to let you all know i'm getting there. Cheers ps, these decals by daco are fantastic.
  11. I would'nt use it on cars either, nevermind aircraft. In the photos, the film has no sheen or gloss, it looks flat. Bare Metal Foil works for me when i need it, if i need to have something in a specific colour, i'll use the messy paint method
  12. Thanks Guys, will give the pollycsale dust a try Lloyd regards
  13. I'll second that Darius, i managed to get a 1/48 Monogram AH-1S from them for the fine price of £9.99. Fab traders and fast too Kingkit Homepage regards
  14. This thing was a bear to build, but it's nearly done. Paints are lighter than they should be but i like the way it's turned out. Anyone got an idea of how to tone down the YELLOW roundels  regards
  15. I'll join the list of happy aztec owners, my 470 has never given me any trouble. It gives much better control than my badger, you just have to look after it.
  16. I'm in, how'd i miss this thread.............. 1/48 Revellogram F14A or is it a D or even a B VF 142 High Vis. :( and if i can, Hasegawa 1/48th VX-4, VF32 or VF-51.
  17. only one of my decals smeared, one smooth action with a wide brush is probably the way to go.
  18. I made custom decals for my F117 using the following Printer Epson CX6400 - durabrite inks Testors decal sheet Micro-sol LDF once printed decals were dry, brush on LDF. Decals went down with micro- set no problems whatsoever.
  19. Bryan

    Orange

Humbrol Gloss 209, that should do it
  20. Celtic Frosts' 1998 LP "Cold Lake", an excellent e-bay purchase. Who remembers how to use vinyl then.... regards
  21. I've got a similar mask to Aggie but with round filters. I can't smell any of the vapour through the mask. The charcoal filters are detachable and have a expiry date on them (about 3 year lifespan) Also has "dust and solid Aerosol" only filter. regards
  22. Sounds like your tip is buggered Kayzer, i've had to change from using the grey to the beige tip during a session. The Grey tip refures to allow paint through, but the beige white and blue work fine. Have you tried the other tips? regards
  23. No worries, i'll keep you posted on how i get on. The hasegawa kit has a couple of issues but i'll see if i can fix them. Good luck with the Revell/Monogram Bird. regards Being a dumbass, i just realised you have listed this in your sig. My face is "RED".
  24. Which kit you doin' John? I've got the Hasegawa 1/72 on the go at the moment, it's a bit fiddly since i normally do 48th but it's not too bad fit wise, detail however is another story. regards
