  1. OK, I see a bunch of misinformation in the previous posts... The Paasche VL is a good and sturdy airbrush but you will probably outgrow it in very little time. The VL was an airbrush designed with car, bike, helmets and t-shirt airbrushing in mind. Much 'bigger' applications than scale modeling though with proper masking, you can get the same results as an ultra fine airbrush. The different needles ARE NOT for finer lines. They are for different kinds of fluids. Ricardo
  2. The topic title pretty much says it all. Id like to hear what´s the difference, and if Gunze acrylics are good for airbrushing. And if theres a website where I can get those really cheap... :D Thanks in advance, Ricardo
  3. why would you want control while darkening the lines? If you goof up you will be able to cover the mistake with the subsequent colors.... Ricardo :D
  4. Andy, thanks for the heads up. However, you can make your own home made maskol by mixing liquid latex and pigments.or water soluble paint. HTH, Ricardo
  5. I wholeheartedly agree with Istvan. Best airbrush I´ve held in my hands. Great construction. great feel, great balance, great performance, and great price. Cheers, Ricardo

  7. Thanks for your reply. Very good tutorial. Ricardo
  8. Frankly I havent found any difference between primed and unprimed models. But if you like priming, any automotive primer will do the job just right and wont break the bank. Ricardo
  9. Guys, I am building Monogram´s Wright Bros Kittyhawk and it is a 1/39 scale model. I haven´t started rigging it since I am not sure what to use that looks real on it. Thanks in advice for your tips, Ricardo

  11. You dont really need a cap. The trick is not to put too much paint in the cup. If the cup is too small get a bigger one. Ricardo
  12. Get the Evolution. Definetely the Best airbrush available. Ricardo
