  1. Ahh... did try airliners but drew a blank - obviously I wasn't using the right method! Thanks! Will go try...
  2. Oh, I see... Is it available in kit form? Or will I have to scratchbuild it 7 times?
  3. Already have done... too small to be of use as reference material unfortunately...
  4. Hi Tim! Nice to see you're still building! Feel free to copy this to our forum! And don't forget to let Ted Bayliss know!!
  5. I notice these have a small pod on the lower LHS of the intake, but can't find any reference to this in your book? I'm assuming it's NOT a HTS pod? What is it, and is it available in kit form?
  6. Guys, I'm looking for photos of the following airframes - can anyone help? For some reason I've managed to pick the ones I DON'T already have pictures of! Type Block Serial Bort Scheme Unit F-16D 32C 86-041 41 Fulcrum 64 AGRS F-16C 32D 86-269 69 Brown 64 AGRS F-16C 32 86-272 72 Flogger 64 AGRS F-16C 32 87-307 07 Brown 64 AGRS F-16CG 42 90-727 27 Flanker 64
  7. Absolutely fantastic guys! Keep 'em coming!
  8. Excellent stuff guys! How about some of the stuff that's out there right now? Pickups/SUVs etc are not glamorous but absolutely essential!
  9. Well, we've got plenty of posts about the aircraft themselves, and we now have posts about the crew...so how about some posts of the other typical stuff you see on the ramp, but which is NEVER photographed? Pickups, step vans, follow-me wagons, crash tenders, lighting, electrical and air carts, the list is endless! And extra kudos for anyone who can post pics of the Z-28s and GTOs used as chase cars for the TR-1's!!
  10. There's actually a link that says "to the English page" about halfway down. Unfortunately, it doesn't work!
  11. It's DEFINATELY a what if! They never made a prototype as it never got beyond the mockup stage. Real pity though - it's a beautiful aircraft and would have looked really good next to a B-70!
  12. I was under the impression that the Israeli's use these as well, although can't remember if or where I saw a source...
  13. How do I pre-order then - will definately want 1 in 1/72nd scale...
  14. The Esci F-111A is nice - now reissued by Italeri. I personally don't think much of the Airfix F-111E or the Monogram EF-111A, although others may disagree...
  15. Actually, it was Aeroclub. I have a set of both their F-102 and F-106 doors and they're pretty good. Not sure if they're still available though...
  16. All available through ozmods - www.ozmods-kits.com
  17. Pics of the decals and instruction sheet are on our site - www.usaf-sig.org
  18. Why is it that they only fix it AFTER you've bought more copies of the original than you're ever likely to build! :P
  19. Have you seen the current price for this book now that it's out of print? $100+!
  20. There's also a Condor decal sheet BTW... Let us know how you get on - I tried building the Testors kit but had problems with the wing joints - I either had a kinked leading edge or a huge gap at the back of the wing and without plans it's impossible to figure out how to fix!
  21. Think there are some photos in Jake Melampy's F-16 book
  22. I'm probably going to attract a lot of flak here... but why oh why are people continuing to ask for stuff that's ALREADY AVAILABLE?! E.g. - SNIPER and LITENING pods - both available in resin in 1/72nd scale F-84G sheets - Experts Choice B-52 - wait and see what the Cutting Edge sets contain! F-15E pylons etc - I believe a set is either already available or planned - or there's always the Airfix kit! Personally, I'd like to see some of the current weapons, as few if any are available - e.g. Small Diameter Bomb, AGM-154 JSOW. Also, how about "proper" full Pave Penny, Pave Tack and Pave K
  23. Interesting... The Microscale sheet is yellow/red/blue and the stripes are both darker and smaller than the Eagles Strike ones... Unfortunately, I can't find any photographs of this aircraft to clarify the issue which is a pain...
  24. I'm building this aircraft - however I have a question regarding markings. I have Microscale sheet 72-76 and also Eagles Strike sheet 72-025 (Vietnam Warriors Pt1 - F-4C/D). Both supposedly cover the same airframe, but the markings are completely different. Can anyone advise as to which is correct?
