  1. As promised here are a few progres shots of my Revell 1/48 F-15E. She is almost ready to be primed ready for the Alclad on the metal areas which I will mask off and then paint the Gunship Grey modelmaster enamel. This will be an OIF aircraft with Twobobs Decals. Cockpit and seats are kit items with Eduard Colour Zoom etch. Wing pylons are modified with new Lau-128 misile rails an AIM-120's. Missiles and Tanks are pinned for a glueless final assembly after painting. The tanks had the back point cut off like the OIF WRM tanks. Aires resin burner cans which I really liked - fin
  2. Paolo Can do. Give me around 24 hours as I will have to do it from work. Regards Andrew Perren
  3. Groovy Thanks Guys for the info. I'll post some progress pics soon. Andrew
  4. Aaron No luck with the pics - got the dreaded red "X". Funny enough we were thinking alike before your reply. I have already replaced the LAU-128's and got some AIM-120's thanks to my Hasegawa F-16B/D "Barak" kit. I just grafted them onto the kit pylon adapters after removing the older Sidewinder rails. I will be using the kit AIM-9's as they look ok. They now have scratchbuilt seeker covers on. 5. Thanks Aaron, that is most helpful. I have made FOD guards for the intakes but the burner cans will be uncovered. I am thinking about using the 1/72 Eduard etch RBF tags as they will be more in scale with the ones I already have on the AcesII Seats. And it seems as though there will be a few of them so the larger 1/48th ones might be too much. I am thinking that I will put them on the AIM-9 Seeker covers and on the 4 x LAU128 rails, Nose Gear, Main Gear, Intake FOD Guards, Canopy Brace, Control sticks, at least. I'm still undecided on the data probes on the nose. I don't want it all Bu
  6. Hi all I'm new to this forum but would like to ask a question of the strike eagle experts. I'm currently building Revells 1/48 F-15E as 336FS a/c from OIF using Two Bobs "Saddam Hunters" decals. A/C 490 "Southern Outlaw" Also Aires Burner cans and Eduard Etch. The Loadout will be (from Strike Eagle.com) OIF #1 2 x WRM tanks 2 x AIM-9 2 x AIM-120 9 x GBU-12 1 x ALQ-13 1 x ALQ -14 1. Does that sound like the way to go for a "busy" Load ? 2. I've looked at about a thousand :) photos and can't quite work out the locations of all the RBF tags and lockout points etc. I want to
