  1. Thanks for the link, Paolo. I got pretty curious, so I decided to just order a copy!
  2. Choppers with sealegs. OK, I'm in; depending on the date!
  3. Thanks Gary, I have two sheets 'in da house' so plenty of numbers to build my favourite: 52-8088. After that there will be no more 1/48 JASDF F-15 aggressors till the next JASDF groupbuild I think a 1/32 aggressor sheet would be huge, and I read on this forum somewhere Microscale very recently stopped printing the bigger 8x10 sheets. That would mean two smaller ones which would bring the price up etc etc. Personally wouldn't buy a combined 1/32 - 1/72 sheet because those 1/32 decals will probably never be used (although I have a 1/32 F-15 in the stash for almost 20 years now). I'd love som
  4. Would love a 1/72 version of this sheet. But with a bit more numbers on it; had narrowed my interest in a 1/48 Japanese aggressor down to DJ 52-8088 (the blue/blue one) or 92-8912 (the brown/green singleseater) but despite TB's claim you can build any aggressor using their sheet, these two aircraft require a second sheet just for the numbers! The 52-8088 requires ten '8s' while 912 requires six '2s'. There are only five of each on a sheet......... But with the current downfall of 1/72 on the US market I don't think such a sheet will happen.
  5. Grazie Paolo, I was curious about the colour of the parachute pack inside the seat, visible on the both sides and on top of the seat. Seems to be beige, same as the cushion and backrest.
  6. Gary, This is not the best shot I've ever made but maybe it does the trick. It is very recent (last month).
  7. Censored pics! The bortnumbers have been completely or partially 'erased'. The small numbers at the top of the fin seems to have been overlooked by the censorer. Does the delivery of the 9-13 and UB mean the end of the MiG-25 in Azeri AF service?? If yes: <_<
  8. Three sources quote FS36375 for the light grey and FS36270 for the darker grey colour.
  9. Progress on the T-4! To be quite honest: this is one of the first models I worked on since picking this hobby up again after a 12 year break. It is the first model I sprayed using my new airbrush (that was nerve-wracking!). And then it is time for the wash. Also a first for me. Read a lot about it on this forum and in the 'tools-and-tips' section and decided it was time to give it a go. Prepared an acryl/water/soap sludge using Tamiya XF-63 German Grey and smeared it all around the panel lines. And then....the wait. Ten nailbiting hours later I decided to carefully remove it to see what it l
  10. Thanks for your reply,Stephen, now I can include the B-model kit in my search!
  11. Not in the UK but www.aviationmegastore.nl has the sheet and I believe they do ship to the UK. HTH
  12. Can I use the 1/48 CMK set on a Hase F-16B too, or do I need the F-16D or DJ kit? Anybody here used the set already? TIA!
  13. Got mine from Hannants, but I see it is now listed as a 'future release'
  14. I feel the same way. Whenever I started building one, popped out the good old bottle of wodka. That is; till my wife ordered me to build western models only The Pantera kits are OK but indeed a bit crude. The price is the biggest advantage! The KP 1/72nd MiG-21MF is still the most accurate kit of this subtype in this scale, at least until the rumored Zvezda MF comes along. Plastyk and Mastercraft make a repop of this mold with recessed lines. Now when will that Zvezda MF be released? I bought a couple of the Mastercraft MiG-21MFs on eBay for 2 euro each so again the price is on your
  15. I'll be in with a 1/72 Polish F-16C. I have the 1/48 CMK conversion set for the Polish F-16D, now if I could only find that Hasegawa F-16D for a reasonable price And of course, 'cause I work on them, I will also built a 1/72 and 1/48 RNLAF F-16AM!
  16. Let's hope Poland continues flying them for a loooooong time.................. They are the last European user now  Fitters forever!
  17. My Czech is a little rusty too  From the pictures: it looks like they are fabricating the mould. Let´s hope it will be out soon along with a reissue of the 1/48 Su-25K and Su-25UBK!
  18. Cool, now all we need is an F-16D in 1/48! Too bad the Hasegawa one is OOP, and a Tamiya example is still far away me thinks.
  19. This is the banner half the size, hope this is what you mean!
  20. Looking good, Rodney. I think there is something for everyone!
  21. Yep, shouldn't be much of a problem. Give me some time and watch this space :)
  22. I photographed 719 at Nyutabaru last month and decided I would try and build this little jet. Although it flies with the Aggressor squadron, I don't think it is used as an aggressor but I stand to be corrected of course! Kit is the Hasegawa 1/72 T-4 JASDF box, which I picked up in Japan for around 6 euro (less than 8 US$). Unbelievable. Fit is very good and you get a decal sheet with loads of numbers and markings for 23 (!!!) squadrons/flights/units. That sure makes it difficult to choose! All in all, a nice little kit and good value for money. Instead of using the kit decals for the dayglo
  23. Ouch! That's gotta hurt! Good luck, I hope it will not spoil the look of a great model.
