Cool, another nod towards the "F", thanks achterkirch! I hear ya, regarding more for your effort. Some may know this about me, but I despise working with PE. It often renders cool detail, but man do dislike working with it. The tools needed to bend, shape tiny parts, attaching them. God help you if you loose a part off your workbench to the carpet monster. Anyway, I digress. Thanks for your input! It's looking more and more like the "F"...and a SHARP Pod, LOL!

Ha! So, another vote for the "F". Nice. Definitely getting the "hint" for a SHARP pod! LOL! Got it, Thanks for chiming in!

Thanks Tom G. I appreciate that! Yeah, I'm like you in that I'm more of a fan of two-seater combat jets over the single seaters. Thats really the underlined reason I reached out to ask cause I have to put aside what I prefer over what my customers actually want..after all, I do plan on doing both so, I can eventually have my cake and eat it too..in time. Yep, you can be sure this new set will get the same treatment of detail, maybe a bit more as I'll apply new things I've learned since the F-15E and F/A-18C cockpit! Thanks for your comments! Cheers.

Great points ChippyWho. I agree, that would be my strategy with doing the "F" version cockpit. Thanks for wieghing in!

Hello all, Greg @ Modern Hobbies here. A few months ago, prior to the holidays I initiated discussion asking my fellow 1:72 modern jet modellers if they would like to have MH produce a cockpit set for the Hasegawa Superbug. This resulted in a resounding Yes. So I wanted to touch base here as well and ask you all to weigh in. Specifically which version would you like to see produced first; the "E" or "F" cockpit? I plan on dong both, but as I like to do at Modern Hobbies; I like to allow you guys to tell me what YOU want. Which ever way the census sways, it's getting produced! Which ver

Hey guys, Hope you all had a good Holiday and the new year is treating you well so far. In case you missed it on my blog, completed Part#3 of my update on the F-15E Cockpit Set for Hasegawa. I've been completing the production molds and preparing to roll it out for the 1.72 scale guys in about a week. Check for a review on Internet Modeler soon as well. Come by the blog and check it out! BTW, if you guys know "White Wolf" on here, he gets a free set! (hope he's reading ;-) This set was a suggestion by him and I've mentioned him on our blog. And thats how I roll, you think it up and I

LOL! "It's the gentleman's scale" Not sure where I heard that.. LOL!

Ironic, I have a cockpit in-progress for the Revell viper. Great Idea about the additional wheels, bay doors and exhaust can. I'll add this one!
-
Hmm, may have to make that more apparent on the site... bigger text, etc. like Lodewijk mentioned. Thanks for letting me know guys!
-
Hey Big Kohona, Exactly! Thats exactly why I made a pit for the Legacy hornet...there are a lot of guys out there who have all these old kits in their stash. So, my thought was to give those Legacy kits a second life of sorts. I've got my eye on that Academy kit too!
-
Nice! I have neglected the F-15E, cool added those as well!
-
Cool, I just added those to my list!
-
Good Idea, I just may do that. Ha! the font is kinda small. Yeah, I agree with ya, some sets require a lot of unnecessary work for sure. If theres anything else specific in 1/72nd scale you'd like for your kits, don't hesitate to shoot me a message on the web site or email!
-
Hmm, thats funny, the scale of my products are in my logo under Modern Hobbies...Never got those "what scale is this emails." Maybe I need to make the description bigger. Hey thanks for pointing this out ;-)
-
Thanks guys, I appreciate it. You guys are tempting me! LOL! Wow, there's nothing from Aires or Avionix for the A-10C in 1/48? I'm kinda in disbelief. I know the Owner of Avionix (formerly Black Box) I'll ask him about that for you guys. If the other guys won't, MH might just have to step up. No promises though. ;-)

Hello there all, Greg here, back in the ARC forums after a 3-year hiatus to inform all my fellow 1/72nd scale modern military jet modellers that I am re-opening Modern Hobbies! I'm super excited to be back into the hobby as well. I can't wait to re-connect with you all. I've re-designed my website a bit, added few new items, and plan on making MH a hub for all things 1/72nd scale modern jets. I am in the works to offer full colour ebooks, tips and techniques in the form of PDF for download in my new "MH Learning Centre." I am also very excited to hopefully build a community on the site

RJ is rigt on the money. Depending on how many shots has come out of the mold and the quality, the average mold life is about 150 casting. More is possible with the very expensive RTVs on the market that I use here in the Modern Hobbies shop. If you are getting short-shot, incomplete or casting that are full of trapped air pockets and pin-holes; their not using the proper equipment/ techniques to manufacter the parts. Sounds like Squadron bought the molds and just started casting into them without using proper techniques and /or poor quality resin. This is to bad...I have some 1/48 comiss

Hey, Greg Williams here from Modern Hobbies LLC! I appreciate all the great initial impressions so far, thanks. You guys are dead on, I'm moving resin like it was going out of style and huge orders from all over the world so far...Tel Aviv Israel just the other day! Well, I've paid close attention and I depend on your valued suggestions. With that said, I've just completed the master for the GBU-38 JDAM! You can look for it in the next few weeks as soon as I get production molds made and they will be ready for your 1/72 scale ground crew to load 'um up! I plan on making them available in
