  1. My thoughts exactly Chuck Pete
  2. Thanks for the input guys, will go for the Tammy, as I am planning to do the NFII in all black (Circa 1942/3) I will more than likely do it with the bomb bay doors closed. Cheers Pete
  3. Thanks, but I was thinking 1/72 Pete
  4. Quick question; Which mosquito MkII kit is best, Airfix or Tamiya, any of you guys built one or both?? Pete
  5. Yes, know what you mean Mike, these clever people!!!! no, but seriously very useful info Ian, much appreciated. Pete
  6. So what you are saying Ian is that it wouldn't be oppresively loud?
  7. Cheers Mike, not sure about db ratings, but I know that my computer fan is rated at 12db and I can hardly hear it. Pete
  8. Have any of you guys come across the AB-AS18 mini compressor? 54db 57psi pressure regulator water trap going for £47.99 on e-bay, "NEW" good? bad? indifferent? any comments? Pete
  9. Thanks FD, I thought that was possibly the way the 200's needle came out but just wanted to make sure without damaging the AB Pete
  10. Good idea Chuck, will do Pete
  11. Thanks for the help and advice guys, the two knurled wheels that hold the needle in the body are very tightly locked together, far tighter than finger tight, will have to try some tools on them to try and loosen them, all though the needle turns nicely in the body for spray adjustment.
  12. Looking at the back of the brush, it has a double knurled nut which appears to be attached to the needle, I don't know whether this nut separates or not, I've tried it but it wont separate, if you turn the complete item then the needle starts to turn and move towards the rear of the brush, when the screw thread separates from the rear main body of the brush this is when the snug fit becomes evident Pete
  13. Yes, but will the needle pull out of the back of a Badger 200 as it's a very, very snug fit???
  14. Yes Mikeiw, I know exactly what you mean, I kept putting it off and putting it off, finally forced myself to use it yesterday and was pleased with the results, no runs, no spatter, smooth covering, really proud of myself. Pete
  15. Thanks guys; You are making me feel better already, one small point though with the Badger 200, I didn't take the needle out from the back of the brush, as it feels a very tight fit (snug),it moves alright, is it ok to remove the needle all the way??? Pete
