  1. The Blades (UK) flying the Extra 300 LP And the Patrouille Suisse flying the F-5E Tiger II (joined with the Belgian demo F-16A on the first pic) All shot on Sanicole Airshow 2009 Belgium.
  2. Here some pics I shot last weekend at Sanicole Airshow (Belgium) from the flight-demo. Colours are not really accurate because of the bad weather (fog) and the sun shining right in the face. I have some detail shots from the static display but they are on my other pc. I'll post them later.
  3. You make me silent Pierre, I'm just speechless. This really is a masterpiece
  4. another striking shot and indeed, as someone said before, try to get that hot spot in the clouds left of the nose away (if you shot this pic in Raw-format it should be easy repairing this in Photoshop)
  5. Hi Pierre, I think you're feeling as happy as your trouts now that you finally did (yes I know, you still have to replace the accessories, but that's a minor thing compared to the hard work you did before). May I ask for more pics of this masterpiece Congrats ...
  6. A HH-60 J Jayhawk would be
  7. good luck on this one ... i keep drooling over my keyboard everytime i'm seeing the updates in this topic
  8. I have to agree. Some very nice and clean pics. As I read from the exif data it is shot with a Canon 30D, but what lens is it (my guess, it's the Canon EF 17 - 40 mm 1:4 L USM. If my guess was right I would've shot this on 20-25mm to get the whole plane on the pic, and crop later. And do you have an UV-filter mounted on your lens (to eliminate the blue haze), 'cause the red warning triangles seems a bit off, but that could be just me ... :) Keep them coming like that, they'll make great desktops and (if shooting on 10Mb) some stunning posters :o
  9. Hi, update 1. I used the finger pressure method to bend the rotorblades, and it went quiet well Thanks for the hints. Next was the tail rotor. When I'm back from a short holiday I'll start the cockpit and painting the rotor parts. More next week.
  10. this is one great-looking model, very impressive artwork
  11. Hi, here's my first heli-build ever. I like to build a grey Apache bird (if I get some decent decals), but we'll see what happens along the way. Got the box yesterday and started on the main rotor right away ... ... so, everything went well so far. But now my first question; how do you guys bend the main rotorblades. Is heating them in water a good plan (then you get an overall even warmth) or do I just use a hairblower. Bending them to an even degree on all blades will be done by fixing them lenghtwise between two blocks. Something like this Now off to work.
  12. yes, I read that, even the review written here, and if there's no one else who made some decent decals I'll have to do with the Isradecals sheet ...
  13. is there any company who has made and put the decals for the grey AH-64 Apache on the market ...?
  14. You can count me in for an Academy 1/48 AH-64 A M.I.S.P. Apache. Build straight out of the box, maybe some scratchbuilbing, we'll see along the way. My first build here on this forum, and my first heli ... ;)
