  1. Since I have some experts of these aircraft, another question came to mind. I'm looking at stencils for the blue F-4, which color? black, gray, white? or none. Thoughts?
  2. A quick question to Zark, how did you produce the "DIAS" antenna on the intakes?
  3. After reviewing the links and photos provided, I want to thank everyone again. The info provided was exactly what I was looking for and answered my questions, also Zark, again that is one fine aircraft, I hope mine can be half as good. Mike
  4. Wow, thanks to all, and Zark, what a nice piece, I hope I can do as well. Mike
  5. Thanks for the info, very helpful, links as well. As far as the weathering, I figured I would pre-shade the panel lines and lighten the base color a bit on the horizontal surfaces, I guess I thought this primer thing might add to the effect. Might not be worth the effort though, but thanks for the info. Mike
  6. I have a question about the HAF Aegean blue scheme for the F-4e's. Searches have not produced the answer, so bear with me on this one. Anyway, I would like to do a number of Greek aircraft, F-4, F-5, F-16's in various HAF paint, (I love the weathering possibilities). The F-4E with the Aegean blue seems doable, but I don't know what to use for the silver underside. The FS number is basically chrome silver, which I believe is too bright, almost like bare metal, which won't work on the F-4s. So first, what silver to use, second, I can't find a drawing or good photo which shows the demarcatio
  7. Thanks for the reply, oh well, maybe someone has one that came from a damaged F-105G. Mike
  8. This may have already been discussed, but if so, I missed it. I have the Trumpeter F-105G that I'm getting ready to build and I really like the way the engine looks. With a little tweaking, it would look great on a stand next to the jet. I know the problem has been the tail pipe is needed on the model so you have to build the engine and hide it inside. Is there a source for the tail pipe so it could be placed in the fuselage but still have one to keep the engine outside? By chance does anyone have a spare due to say a tragedy where perhaps their F-105 crashed unto a floor and was turned i
  9. Just wondering if anyone is interested in trading a Trumpeter 1/32 AV-8B Night Attack for my 1/32 AV-8B Harrier II, straight up? Mike
  10. I just wanted to echo others here and say how beautiful Floyd's set is. The molding is clean and crisp and his service is awesome. If you have even a passing interest in this copter, buy this set. Along with Fireball Modelworks decal set, you can't go wrong. Mike
