Aaron, Oh no man, you read MY comments all wrong. I just stated that my intakes would not be based on the CE ones but on the kit ones. Guess what? The CE ones are basically the kit ones too! How do I know? I have em. :) My comments were mainly directed at the people who think it is just fine to buy copied parts with no issues at all. Do I know 100% that Rhino has copied anyone elses stuff? Nope. Mainly because I have none of the offending parts in my hands to prove or disprove it. I do trust the words of people who do this such as Chris, Mike V and Dmitri. We are a small fraternity of resin

My intakes will and are based on the Tamiya kit intakes so anyone can compare away with the CE ones. I will say however that all of this crap going on with Rhino and seeing that some individuals here have no scruples makes me wonder if this is even all worth it. Pretty sad to be honest.

how about those long, LED light bars that guys would put in their back windows and the lights would go back and forth ad nauseum?? Now it is time to get the Harley Riders into the mix. Hey, I am glad you like your bike but why do you feel the need to pull in the clutch and rev the obnoxious motot under each and every underpass you go under??

Not to mention but those of us "smaller" (meaning not Aires/Eduard/CMK) type of producers tend to know each other and look out for one another whenever we see something fishy. I know Mike V personally, he started Two Mikes with me and I can attest that he is quite possibly the most detail oriented guy I have ever met. I trust his judgement beyond reproach. I think this thread is running its course as there are valid points made by all and it would be a shame to see it turn into a mudslinging match.

My car has very dark tinted windows as the temps here get to 120 farenheit during summer and I would rather not sit on super heated seats. Window tint is a necessity for several people, for several reasons.

Oooohhhhhh I hate the memorial stickers on the back of peoples car windows. I understand you feel bad about the loss of a family member or friend but frankly, I don't need to read about it. I know, I am a jerk but In Memory of so and so has NO meaning on the back window of a strangers car.

You know Harold, that is a good idea. When I was doing the Mirage 2000 stuff I had planned to release I had the gentleman from Renaissance contact me after someone said I was pirating his parts. Once I sent him photos of what I had and how different it was, he was very gracious and apologetic for accusing me. I actually appreciated that he cared enough about his stuff to contact me.

It is like an epidemic.

Seems that resin pirating is getting a bit extreme these days. I have been told of a few items that are direct copies of mine being sold on eBay UK on several occasions and always by a different person. As far as I know, I am the only one who has ever made 1/72 Avro Vulcan intakes and wheel wells. Dimitri, I feel bad that your stuff is being pirated again. It takes money out of your pocket and whomever is doing this has no scruples or morals. On another note, when will you be making a trip up to Phoenix? Just got a couple of the VF-84 sheets the other day and they certainly are very nice!!

That is a C-17 and Jennings drew decals for the Revell kit. HTH Mike
