I bet UPS, Fed Ex and DHL would love a few!!

Cheers Berkut. I have seen pics of it in its decrepid state but never knew the history of it.

what a wickedly cool craft! I really like your displays Ken. The water effects are perfect. Quick question, did the Bartini ever actually get used? It looks like something out of the Thunderbirds!

Most, if not all jets came from the factory loaded in stencils. Once they hit the first repaint it is really up to the paint barn and each bases particular guidelines what made it back on. All of the pertinant warning stencils usually remain but 90% of panel numbers get the axe. HTH Mike

If you look at this video, the tail wheel pops just after the initial climb and the trim tab does not depart ntil just before the roll onto its back. Something went wrong before the tab departed.

Hi all, I am after this one for reasons unknown to me but I know I want it. I will happily buy it or buy/trade some Two Mikes Resin sets for it. If you have one to dispose of, let me know. We can work out a deal. Cheers Mike

The intakes and exhausts are almost ready for release! I am doing some test casts now. Cheers Mike -
Thanks guys. I will try and grab an Eduard seat. I totally forgot about those!
-
Jennings, in my case I am using the kit cockpit and wanted to replace the seat with a bit of a better one than the kit offers. As far as Aires not fitting, I thought it was Czech for "does not fit."

Hi all, Well I am working on a 1/48 Tamiya F-16 and I have decided to go with an aftermarket seat. I initially attempeted to use a quickboost seat but it is areound 3mm too wide to fit the tub. Thinning it to fit is not plausable as I would need to remove a lot of the still visible detail I did a cursory look around for a seat but did not have much luck. Are there any seats for the Block 30 type jets out there in 1/48 that are made for the Tamiya kit? Cheers Mike

I believe Parago Designs did them (he is no longer producing but they can be sourced) as well as MasterCasters over in the UK. HTH Mike
