Hi HOLMES, I appreciate your comments. Cheers, Lawrence

Thanks Bun E. Carlos, cheers Lawrence

Thanks for that IrishGreek. I believe the kit has some accuracy issues but I wasn't too worried about it. It looks like a T-80 to me, so I'm happy with it. As for the kit itself it went together pretty easy, just removing the seams on the gun barrel and fuel tanks was a bit time consuming. Cheers Lawrence

Hi All Here are some pictures of my recently completed T-80UD in 1/35 scale by Revell. more images can be seen at: http://zedhobbies.blogspot.com Cheers, Lawrence

Thanks for that. The vertical stabs are painted light gray (FS 36375 ) but the photos of my Rhino are a bit misleading. Just had a quick look at your pics at ANZAC Modeler ( and subsequently www.defence.gov.au) and one thing I have just noticed is the shade of gray used for the national markings, tail flash, serial numbers, etc.....they appear to be a much darker shade of gray than what appears on the Aussie Decals sheet. Not sure if I have problem. Cheers Lawrence

Hi All, I finally found the time to paint the kit and here are the results. Cheers, Lawrence see more at: http://zedhobbies.blogspot.com/ .......I was thinking, I just might add some AIM-120's or perhaps some laser guided bombs.

Great job Darren, keeping an eye on this one. Cheers Lawrence

Fabulous job on the paint work and in the cockpit Keith. What did you use for the cockpit? (As I have this kit and the cockpit has no detail whatsoever ) Cheers, Lawrence

Thanks for that. Currently I have been using images from Airliners.net and from www.defence.gov.au for references. You wouldn't happen to have any pics of "armed" Super Bugs from 1 or 6 Sqn? Just about every image I have seen they are carrying fuel tanks with/without wing tip missiles or just recently a single AGM-154C. Cheers Lawrence

Thanks GreyGhost, just the information I was after. Cheers Lawrence

Hi All Here are some pictures of my current build, a RAAF F/A-18F Super Hornet using Italeri's EA-18G kit in 1/48 scale. As can be seen, I will build this kit with the in flight re-fueling probe open. Would anyone know the colour of the in flight re-fueling probe housing? Is it white or is it red just like the probe itself? Cheers, Lawrence see more at: http://zedhobbies.blogspot.com/

I feel your pain..... Perhaps if anyone has a spare AFV Club F-5E Tiger II Sundowner kit, they might part with the decals? You never know. Cheers Lawrence

Thanks guys for the comments, appreciate it. I used Gunze paints, H301 FS36081,H302 FS34092, H303 FS34102 thinned with methylated spirits(can't remember the ratio). The writing under the nose art says "Iron Maiden IV" Cheers, Lawrence see more at: http://zedhobbies.blogspot.com/
