  2. If you build the HobbyBoss F6F just build the wings folded. Then you can't see the gross canopy.

  4. Many of the lacquer thinners have been reformulated because they are on the EPA hazardous lists. VOC content or something.

  7. I was ready to add weapons to this but upon looking for images to see how it may have been loaded I did not find any pictures with weapons. In fact most pictures it didn't have pylons or external tanks even with later units.
  8. Submitting my recent completion. Hasegawa F-15DJ built as an F-15B from the 53FS/36FW Bitburg AB, GERmany. I used decals from PK Productions for the markings and stencils. Here are some pictures. Enjoyable build. Thanks for looking.
  9. As requested. I finished my F-15B from Bitburg using PK Productions Eagle Country decals. I also used PK Productions stencil decals. I recommend these. More pictures will be in the Display Case forum.

  11. Hi All, Working on a Hasegawa F-15B in 1/48 scale. Time period is 1980. I need to know if it would have the turkey feathers or would they have been removed by then. And the tailhook if the housing around it would have been removed by then. Pertinent info is F-15B 75-0088 stationed at Bitburg AB July 1980. Thanks for any help.

    57 Chevy

    Stock AMT Chevy Bel Air. Hope you like. I used Easy -Off oven cleaaner to remove the chrome and then I used some self adhesive foil to replicate the chrome work and silver paint on the smaller items and the front grill and rear bumper.
