  1. Good post….thanks for sharing.. very useful for me i will bookmark this for my future needed. thanks for a great source.

  2. Hi Chris I don't know if your camera supports that setting but it might help in difficult situation to set the measuring from matrix (that's often the default, and measures in different areas of the photo) to spot. If you use matrix, the camera tries to get the proper lighting for the sky and the plane, which causes the picture to be to bright and washed out. But if you shoot in spot mode, the camera will most likely get the plane just right. Butyou have to keep in mind that the sky will be just white. Hope this can help you for the future. Greets, Daniel
  3. Hey Guys Is anyone else into HDR photography? Because I am, and that's what it looks like: Cheers, Daniel
  4. Thank you all very much and especially ALF for this detailed infos. I'm going to let you know when the built is completed. Daniel
  5. Hi Fellas I'm building a F/A-18C Swiss Air Force and after looking at many pictures and reading lots of stuff i'm still confused about the missiles: So does anyone around here know what missiles they carry on test flights? On many pictures they just carry one on the tip of the right wing and none on the left. Is that right? Thanks, Daniel
  6. This is just awesome. Très bien fait. Incroyable. Daniel
  7. wow this build looks terrific. keep up the good work. Cheers, Daniel
  8. Thanks Matt that's a very creative idea :) . I need to try that soon. Daniel
  9. For the next time you need to glue clear parts: Try to find a glass-glue at your hardware store. Those glues are really clear and don't cause fogging. Also it's not as liquid than white glue, so it stays where you put it. Daniel
  10. I never had problems airbrushing during cold winters here in Switzerland. You should pay attention to your model not being outside for to long. If it cools down to much and you spray on it, the wet paint might crack up and leave ugly patterns, if you bring it back to your warm bench to dry. This happened to me once with enamels, since then I always try to be as quick as possible or let the the paint dry in a colder place than on my workbench. It's all about the temperature difference, because the paint expands when it gets warmer (like all substances do). Hope this helps, Daniel
  11. This is just mind-blowing. How you created the illusion of wood is so amazing Daniel
  12. The Master Class AB is OK just like Jamie told you. But a friend of mine once had one of the cheaper Airbrushes. In my opinion they are more a toy than a usable AB. You might use them to spray large parts but as soon as you want to go into details, you can't really use them. Daniel
  13. Wow this is really amazing. Great detailes a truly outstandig job!! Daniel
  14. hi Dave nice to see your pictures. you finally made it to the finish line, took you quite long didn't it? :P It looks great on the fotos but even better in reality. I'm really stunned that all those wired we hooked up really light up the LED's. And I'm glad I could help you with my airbrush. If you need to paint your next model, you know who to call.. Also flutschige rutsch und machs guet. Daniel
  15. Hey Guys Christmas is over by now and i got this Hasegawa kit. Now I'm exited to start but i wanted to do some research first. I wantet to ask you if you had some infos about the exact color scheme or the posotion of the decals (the kit has a manual for the US-version) that you'd like to share with me. I would appreciate that and if anyone has ever built that kit, how was it? Thanks, Daniel
