    The Hangar

Coming in a little late to the party, but if its not to late I'll join in with a Hasegawa 1/48 AH-64E. Going to be a OOB build.

    On the bench

I'll be putting in a Dragon 1/35 King Tiger. Not sure yet whether I'll be doing it in a white-wash or regular camo. Aftermarket parts include turned barrel and muzzle brake, as well as FruilModel metal tracks. Love those metal tracks!! Used them previously on a Tiger I build. Pain to clean up and put together, but worth it in the end. If there is still time remaining, I would also like to see about doing some Russian armor. Maybe a T-34/85

The best US airshow to see

Here's a good site that lists out all of the 2016 airshows that have been announced. Also, it shows whether the T-birds or Blue Angels will be there. Unfortunately, I don't think you will find any that have both at the same time. http://www.aero-pix.com/schedule/schedule.htm

    HH-60M

Thanks for the replies. Looks like I'll have to wait for the Werner set to come out as I'm not quite to that level of scratchbuilding yet!

    HH-60M

One of my good friends from college just graduated flight school with the Army and will be flying HH-60M medevac helo's. I was thinking about doing a replica of the HH-60M for her, but ran into a few questions. I've done a few searches and haven't come up with many answers. So my question is, other than the FLIR and associated fairing on the nose and all the medical equipment, are there any major differences between the standard UH-60M and the HH-60M? Also, does anyone make a conversion kit to add the FLIR/fairing to the Academy kit? I looked on Cobra Company's site, but they all seem to be the MH-60 style nose, where the FLIR is under the nose, instead of in front of it. This is what I'm looking to make: http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234979646-sikorsky-uh-60-black-hawk/#entry1947905 Thanks! Bizzah

    Royal Maces F/A-18E

Just curious. Have you tried a test fit with the aires pit and front wheel bay? I made this exact model a few years back with an aires pit and wheel wells. I shaved both almost to the point of breaking through the bottom and they still wouldnt fit for me. Granted, this was one of my first "serious" builds so I may have overlooked a solution. Just wanted to give you a heads up.
